Embodiments of this application relate to the field of optical communications, and in particular, to a technology of processing data in an optical transport network. In a method for processing data, an optical network device extracts Ethernet data from a data frame of one path, converts the Ethernet data into another format, and places the Ethernet data converted into the another format into a data frame of another path. The optical network device is a destination device of the path and a source device of the another path. In addition, the optical network device further extracts overhead information from the data frame of the path, and inserts the overhead information into the data frame of the another path. The method for processing data provided in this application can implement interworking between different types of Ethernet interfaces. In addition, by using cross-path overhead processing, the method reduces path management complexity.

SERVICE SENDING AND RECEIVING METHODS, DEVICE, SYSTEM AND STORAGE MEDIUM

The present application discloses a service sending method, receiving method, device, system, and storage medium. The service sending method includes: sending, by a sending end, a service flow, a target information block of the service flow carrying position information, and the position information being used for indicating a relative position of the target information block in the service flow.

Method for obtaining target transmission route, related device, and system

Embodiments of this application provide a method for obtaining a target transmission route, a related device, and a system. The method is applied to a flexible Ethernet FlexE networking network and includes: receiving a first message that is sent by a second node for requesting to query for a transmission route of a first FlexE client; and sending a second message to the second node, where a route information entry in the second message includes route information of the FlexE client on each node. Ingress information and egress information that are of a FlexE client on a route node are recorded as a transmission route of each hop. A segment-to-segment transmission route in the FlexE network can be dynamically found in real time, a planned and deployed transmission route is compared with an actually found route, to evaluate a network running status.

Flexible ethernet communication method and network device

This application provides an isolation and recovery method and related network device for a case when one or more physical layer apparatuses (PHYs) in a flexible Ethernet group (FlexE group) are faulty. In the method, if a network device determines that a first overhead block corresponding to each current available PHY is stored in a corresponding memory, the network device determines that a FlexE group meets a PHY alignment condition, and starts to simultaneously read cached data from all memories. Therefore, there is no need to insert local fault LF code blocks to all clients, and there is no need to recreate a group. This effectively reduces the impact of a faulty PHY on client services carried by a normal PHY.

Systems and methods for enhanced autonegotiation

An improved autonegotiation approach includes determining that a negotiated rate between a first network device and a second network device exceeds data transfer capacity over a network path downstream of the second network device. In response, a configuration message is generated and transmitted to the first network device. When received by the first network device, the configuration message causes the first network device to limit data transfer between the first network device and the second network device to no more than the downstream data transfer capacity.

Data transmission method and apparatus

This application provides a data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: processing, by a network device, a to-be-sent optical data unit ODU to obtain another ODU, where a bit rate of the another ODU is lower than a bit rate of the ODU; and sending, by the network device, the another ODU. In embodiments of this application, the ODU is processed to obtain the another ODU with a lower bit rate, and this helps reduce a rate increase when service data is transmitted in an OTN, so as to reduce an OTN interface rate and OTN costs.
