Apparatus, system and method of communicating a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU)
For example, an EDMG STA may generate an LDPC coded bit stream for a user based on data bits for the user in an EDMG PPDU, the LDPC coded bit stream for the user including a concatenation of a plurality of LDPC codewords, a count of the plurality of LDPC codewords is based at least on a codeword length for the user and on a code rate for the user; generate encoded and padded bits for the user by concatenating the LDPC coded bit stream with a plurality of coded pad zero bits, a count of the coded pad zero bits is based at least on a count of one or more spatial streams for the user and on the count of the plurality of LDPC codewords for the user; and distribute the encoded and padded bits for the user to the one or more spatial streams for the user.
Techniques for sidelink channel state information reporting
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a target user equipment (UE) may receive a channel state information (CSI) reference signal (RS) from a source UE via a sidelink communication; determine that a lower-layer determined source identifier of the source UE is included in a set of upper-layer determined source identifiers; and transmit a CSI report in a media access control (MAC) control element (CE) as a response to the CSI RS, based at least in part on the determination that the lower-layer determined source identifier of the source UE is included in a set of upper-layer determined source identifiers. Numerous other aspects are provided.
METHOD OF REPORTING RECEIVED SIGNAL STRENGTH ON PER FRAME BASIS IN WI-FI NETWORK
Aspects of the present disclosure are drawn to a client device for use with an access point device. The client device includes: a memory; and a processor configured to execute instructions stored on the memory to cause the client device to: obtain a value associated with a capability of the client device, create a response including a header and a payload, the header including a reserved field including a bit reporting that the payload of the response includes the value associated with the capability, and transmit the response to the APD.
METHODS, DEVICES AND SYSTEMS FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION USING MULTI-LINK
A wireless communication method of a first device with a second device using multiple links, including first and second links, the method including obtaining transmission-related information in response to entering a transmission preparation period of a first request-to-send (RTS) frame through the first link, the transmission-related information corresponding to a second RTS frame associated with the second link, determining at least one of an additional length or cross-link-related information of the first RTS frame based on the transmission-related information, and determining whether to transmit the second RTS frame based on the at least one of the additional length of the cross-link-related information of the first RTS frame.
Modified use of a grant allocation
Aspects relate to using less than all of an allocation for sending information. For example, a first device such as a user equipment (UE) may receive a grant from a second device such as a base station (e.g., a gNB) where the grant identifies resources and/or a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) allocated to the first device for a transmission. Due to one or more factors, the first device may elect to not use all of the allocated resources and/or may elect to use a lower MCS value. In some implementations, the first device may send an indication of this election to the second device. In some implementations, the first device may send information in a first subset of the allocated resources and apply puncturing to a second subset of the allocated resource.
Packet compression enhancements
In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes determining a number of bytes in a compressed queue and a number of bytes in an uncompressed queue. The method also includes transmitting a buffer status report (BSR) indicating at least the number of bytes in the compressed queue. The method includes receiving an uplink grant indicating one or more uplink grant resources and a number of bytes allocated for the one or more uplink grant resources. The method also includes generating a transport block (TB) based on the uplink grant and the BSR and from data of at least the compressed queue, wherein the TB includes one or more compressed packets and one or more uncompressed packets. The method further includes transmitting a PUSCH transmission including the TB during an uplink grant resource of the one or more uplink grant resources. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR
Embodiments of this application disclose a method and a device therefor, applied to a scenario of Ethernet packet transmission. In an example method, a first device receives a first packet. Load data in the first packet includes padding redundant data. The first device deletes the padding redundant data. The first device generates a second packet. Load data in the second packet is payload data obtained after the padding redundant data is deleted from the first packet. The first device sends the second packet to a second device.
Synchronous multi-link wireless TXOP procedure
Embodiments of the present invention are drawn to a computer-implemented process for automatically synchronizing TXOPs for a multi-link device (MLD) to improve wireless network performance and prevent IDC. The novel process can be performed by a multi-link device performing a multi-link operation, and the multi-link device can act as a wireless access point or a wireless station. Independent EDCA channel access can be performed at the multi-link device on a first wireless link and a second wireless link, and a back-off counter for a first wireless STA and a back-off counter for a second wireless STA are set according to the independent EDCA channel access. A TXOP is synchronously obtained on the first wireless link and the second wireless link responsive to the back-off counters expiring, and a multi-link operation is performed at the MLD using the first wireless link and the second wireless link during the TXOP.
Signal Processing for Different Resource Unit Allocations
A method is disclosed for a wireless transmitter device configured for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission to a wireless receiver device using one or more allocated resource unit (RU), wherein each RU is associated with a constituent encoding padding parameter. The method comprises determining an overall encoding padding parameter, and generating—based on the determined overall encoding padding parameter—a physical layer data packet for transmission to the wireless receiver device in the allocated RU(s). When exactly one RU is allocated for transmission to the wireless receiver device, the overall encoding padding parameter is determined as the constituent encoding padding parameter of the allocated RU. When more than one RU:s are allocated for transmission to the wireless receiver device, the overall encoding padding parameter is determined as a sum of the constituent encoding padding parameters of the allocated RU:s. Corresponding method for a wireless receiver device is also disclosed, as well as corresponding apparatuses, devices and computer program product.
