Decoding method and related apparatus
A method of processing a received message includes: receiving a message through a receiving terminal to obtain the received message; for each bit in the received message, determining a bit state of the bit according to a bit value of the bit; selectively changing the bit state of each bit according to at least a weighting vector and a current value of a flipping threshold, wherein the bit state has a plurality of change ranges; selectively flipping the bit according to the bit state; and adjusting the current value of the flipping threshold according to a number of times the bit has been flipped within a period of time, whether when the number of times the bit has been flipped within the period of time exceeds an upper limit, the flipping threshold adjustment unit increases the current value of the flipping threshold.
METHOD AND DEVICE USED IN UE AND BASE STATION FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
The present disclosure provides a method and device used in UE and a base station for wireless communications. The UE receives a first signaling; and operates a first radio signal. The first radio signal comprises K first-type sub-signals and K first-type reference signals; the first signaling is used for determining time-frequency resources occupied by the first radio signal; time-domain resources occupied by the K first-type sub-signals are non-orthogonal, and frequency-domain resources occupied by each two of the K first-type reference signals are mutually orthogonal; the K first-type reference signals are respectively used for channel estimation of the K first-type sub-signals, and a reference signal port of each of the K first-type reference signals is associated with a target reference signal port. The above method is advantageous in improving efficiency of PTRSs in multi-TRP/panel transmissions.
SPECTRAL EFFICIENCY (SPEF) TO CHANNEL QUALITY INDICATOR (CQI) MAPPING ADAPTATION
Aspects of the disclosure relate to dynamically adapting the mapping between spectral efficiencies and channel quality indicators in real-time based on the channel conditions. In some examples, a scheduled entity (e.g., a UE) may maintain two or more predefined tables or other mappings, each including a respective mapping between spectral efficiency threshold values and channel quality indicators for a respective channel type. The UE may then calculate respective weighted sums of the spectral efficiency threshold values across the two or more predefined tables based on the current wireless channel. For example, the UE may estimate the wireless channel and determine respective weights to be applied to the spectral efficiency threshold values across the two or more predefined tables based on the channel estimate. Other aspects, features, and embodiments are also claimed and described.

Other embodiments are disclosed.
Code-Rate-Dependent Modulation Techniques
A modulation technique, such as for example either Pi/2 BPSK or QPSK, is selected for transmission, based on a characteristic of the data to be transmitted, or the physical channel over which it is to be transmitted. The data characteristic may be the coding rate, or characteristics indirectly related to the coding rate, such as the number of coded bits or number of uncoded bits (payload size). The physical channel characteristic may for example be the physical channel bandwidth, the physical channel length, a number of physical channel modulation symbols, a number of the physical channel resource elements used for the data to be transmitted, or a number of the physical channel modulation symbols carrying the data to be transmitted.
Intelligent optimization of communication systems utilizing error correction
Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, devices, and machine-readable mediums which optimize one or more metrics of a communication system by intentionally changing symbols in a bitstream after encoding by an error correction coder, but prior to transmission. The symbols may be changed to meet a communication metric optimization goal, such as decreasing a high PAPR, reducing an error rate, reducing an average power level (to save battery), or altering some other communication metric. The symbol that is intentionally changed is then detected by the receiver as an error and corrected by the receiver utilizing the error correction coding.
