Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for transmitting a physical downlink shared channel after losing uplink synchronization. One method includes: transmitting first downlink control information that schedules a physical downlink control channel order; transmitting second downlink control information that schedules a physical downlink shared channel transmission; transmitting the physical downlink control channel order based on the first downlink control information; transmitting the physical downlink shared channel transmission based on the second downlink control information, wherein the physical downlink control channel order and at least a portion of the physical downlink shared channel transmission are transmitted after a remote unit loses an uplink synchronization and before the remote unit completes a physical random access channel procedure.
Method and apparatus for combining UL data with a feedback of DL data in a wireless communication system
A method and apparatus for combining UL data with a feedback of DL data in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device receives, from a network, information informing whether an application level uplink (UL) data, subsequent to a downlink (DL) data, is expected or not. A wireless device initiates random access procedure. A wireless device receives, from the network, the DL data in the random access procedure. A wireless device transmits a UL signaling including both the application level UL data and a feedback of the DL data based on the information informing that the application level UL data subsequent the DL data is expected.
Downlink assignment index (DAI) updates for piggyback downlink control information (DCI)
Certain aspects may be implemented in a method for wireless communication. The method generally includes determining a counter downlink assignment index (cDAI) to be included in each of a plurality of downlink control information (DCI), each of a first subset of the plurality of DCI being on a control channel, and each of a second subset of the plurality of DCI being on a data channel, each of the first subset of the plurality of DCI scheduling one of the data channels, and wherein each of the control channels and the data channels is on a cell of a plurality of cells, the determination of the cDAIs being based on order of the cell, with respect to the plurality of cells, on which each of the cDAIs is to be transmitted; generating and outputting for transmission the control channels and data channels in accordance with the determination.
Method for transmitting uplink control information and apparatus therefor
A method for transmitting uplink control information and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. In a method for transmitting uplink control information using a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) in a wireless communication system, the method is performed by a terminal and includes receiving downlink control information including an accumulated number of physical downlink shared channels (PDSCH) transmissions associated with a cell group configured for the terminal, coding the uplink control information using the accumulated number of PDSCH transmissions, and transmitting the coded uplink control information using the PUSCH.
UCI Multiplexing Enhancements
Apparatuses, systems, and methods to enhance system performance (e.g., UL throughput) without impinging on (e.g., tightening) processing timeline for UL-SCH data and/or CSI reporting. A base station may request for a UE to send a CSI report(s) during PDCCH monitoring. The base station may also request the UE to send UL-SCH data. At a first transmit opportunity, the UE may transmit first PUSCH (including UL-SCH data that may be multiplexed onto the first PUSCH). Additionally, at a second (later) transmit opportunity, the UE may transmit second PUSCH (including the CSI report(s) that may be multiplexed onto the second PUSCH). The second transmit opportunity may be identified as a transmit opportunity starting at least a specified number of symbols after a first symbol of the first repetition. The specified number of symbols may be dependent upon at least one of UE uplink processing time capabilities or SCS.
Uplink control information transmission on autonomous uplink in new radio-unlicensed (NR-U)
Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating uplink control information (UCI) in a network operating over multiple aggregated unlicensed carriers are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a downlink communication signal. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, an unscheduled uplink communication signal including an uplink report associated with the downlink communication signal, the unscheduled uplink communication signal communicated based on a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure. The uplink report includes at least one of an acknowledgement (ACK) for data in the downlink communication signal, a negative-acknowledgement (NACK) for the data in the downlink communication signal, or channel information based at least on the downlink communication signal.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT FEEDBACK TECHNIQUES IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that enable efficient group-based acknowledgment feedback reporting. Techniques are provided for feedback for a number of different downlink transmissions to be reported by a user equipment (UE) using transport block level feedback, code block group level feedback, or combinations thereof. Acknowledgment feedback may be provided in one or more group-based or enhanced dynamic feedback reports, a one-shot feedback report, or any combinations thereof.
TECHNIQUES FOR USING A NON-LINEAR MODEL TO INDICATE DATA IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
Aspects described herein relate to converting, by applying a non-linear function, a symbol indicating first data into an analog signal for transmitting to a network node, wherein applying the non-linear function indicates second data, separate from first data, and transmitting the analog signal to the network node. Additional aspects relate to receiving an analog signal from a user equipment (UE), and estimating a non-linear function applied to the analog signal in converting a symbol indicating first data into the analog signal, wherein estimating the non-linear function indicates second data, separate from first data.
Grant-free uplink transmissions
A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may send a grant free transmission comprising a first and a second part, each of which may be associated with a priority. The first part's priority may be higher than the second part's priority. The WTRU may select a first back of value from a first range of back off values. The WTRU may determine whether the grant free transmission was successful. If the grant free transmission was not successful, the WTRU may send a retransmission of the grant free transmission, which may include the first part and may not include the second part. The retransmission may select a second back off value from a second range of back off values, which may be a larger than the first range of back off values. The second back off value may indicate the number of grant free resource to skip prior to sending the retransmission.
Multi-user parallel channel access in WLAN systems
Methods and apparatuses are related to multi-user parallel channel access (MU-PCA). For example, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is provided that is one of the plurality of WTRUs operable to simultaneously communicate via a plurality of channels managed by an access point (AP). The WTRU includes a receiver configured to receive, from the AP, over at least one channel of the plurality of channels, a group poll (G-Poll) message that includes a resource allocation that indicates at least one allocated channel of the plurality of channels for the WTRU; and a transmitter configured to transmit an uplink request message, to the AP in response to the G-Poll message, over the at least one allocated channel of the plurality of channels, the uplink request message corresponding to uplink data the WTRU has for transmission to the AP.
