Considerations for multi-link aggregation

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for improved handling of adjacent channel interference in multi-link aggregation scenarios. In accordance with the described techniques, a device may establish a set of wireless links for communication with a second device, the set of wireless links supporting parallel transmission during at least a first duration of a multi-link session, the set of wireless links including at least a first wireless link and a second wireless link. The device may modify a transmission parameter for the first wireless link or a clear channel assessment (CCA) parameter for the second wireless link, or a combination thereof. The device may then perform the CCA procedure on the second wireless link and transmit at least a first portion of the message on the first wireless link based on the modified transmission parameter or modified CCA parameter.

Infrastructure equipment, wireless telecommunications system and method

An infrastructure equipment that transmits signals representing data via a wireless access interface to a communications device and receives signals representing data via the wireless access interface from the communications device in accordance with a time divided structure in which the wireless access interface is divided into a plurality of repeating time units. The infrastructure equipment provides, in each of a first plurality of the time units, one of a plurality of control channels each configured to schedule one of a plurality of data channels, and provides, in each of a second plurality of time units of the signal transmitted to the communications device, one of the plurality of data channels, the plurality of data channels being formed of one or more bundles of data channels, wherein the infrastructure equipment transmits a bundle status indicator in one or more of the plurality of control channels.

Method and apparatus for performing efficient layer 2 function in mobile communication system

The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for converging IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate beyond a 4G system, and a system therefor. The present disclosure can be applied to intelligent services (e.g., smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail business, and services associated with security and safety) on the basis of 5G communication technology and IoT-related technology. Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for configuring an efficient hierarchical layer 2 architecture and main functions thereof in a next-generation mobile communication system.

Techniques for determining a number of (re)transmissions in wireless communications

Aspects described herein relate to determining a congestion level related to communicating with one or more devices in a wireless network, determining, based on the congestion level, a retransmission scheme for transmitting and/or retransmitting communications in the wireless network, and transmitting or retransmitting a communication in the wireless network based on the retransmission scheme.

USER EQUIPMENT CAPABILITY SEGMENTATION
20230013218 · 2023-01-19 ·

Some aspects described herein relate to reducing a delay in the retransmission of undelivered capability information segments. For example, when transmitting capability information via multiple segments, a UE may request the network to acknowledge each segment and/or may modify a network configured parameter to reduce the delay in retransmitting undelivered segments. In some aspects, a UE may attach to a network for a priority service, such as an emergency service or a short message service. In connection with the attachment, the UE may provide a reduced set of capability information that is relevant to the priority service and that omits at least some capability information irrelevant to the priority service.

INDICATION OF SIDELINK PROCESS FOR SIDELINK FEEDBACK
20230010997 · 2023-01-12 ·

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for indicating sidelink processes for sidelink feedback. A second user equipment (UE) may request hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) responses from a first UE for a particular set of sidelink processes over a physical sidelink feedback channel. To indicate multiple sidelink processes, the second UE may indicate, in sidelink control information, a window of sidelink processes. The window may be a sliding window that starts with a starting sidelink process and extends through other sidelink processes. The second UE may transmit data for the sidelink processes in the sliding window and receive feedback for the indicated sidelink processes. In some aspects, the first UE may select, in coordination with the second UE, the sidelink processes for which feedback is to be provided.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECEIVING PPDU IN WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM

Proposed are a method and an apparatus for receiving a PPDU in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a receiving STA receives a PPDU from a transmitting STA via broadband communication and decodes the PPDU. The PPDU is received on the basis of an OFDMA scheme. The PPDU includes a first signal field. The first signal field includes first information on a preamble puncturing pattern for each 80 MHz band in the broadband communication. The first information consists of a 4-bit bitmap for the 80 MHz band.

METHOD FOR CONFIGURING PREAMBLE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

One example according to the present specification relates to a technique related to configuration of a preamble in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. According to various embodiments, a receiving STA may receive an NDP frame. The NDP frame may comprise a first signal field and a second signal field. The first signal field may comprise first information about a PHY version. The second signal field may comprise second information about transmission of a PPDU, set on the basis of the first information. The receiving STA may perform channel sounding on the basis of the NDP frame.

This application provides a communication method and an apparatus, and relates to the field of communications technologies, to reduce a phenomenon that an acknowledge rule is violated in some scenarios. The method includes: After a receive device receives a first data unit from a transmit device through a first link, the receive device sends receiving status information of the first data unit to the transmit device through the first link, unless the first data unit meets any one of a first preset condition. The first preset condition includes: Correctly received information of the first data unit is fed back through another link, or an acknowledge policy corresponding to the first data unit is no acknowledge. The communication method in embodiments of this application is applied to a multi-link data transmission process.
