SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING INTER-BAND CARRIER AGGREGATION WITH DIFFERENT UL/DL TDD CONFIGURATIONS
20230224918 · 2023-07-13 · ·

In some implementations, a method of wireless communications between a wireless communications network and wireless user equipment includes receiving, using a primary Time Division Duplex (TDD) configuration, data on a primary component carrier in a first frequency band. Using a secondary TDD configuration, data on a secondary component carrier is received in a second frequency band different from the first frequency band. A Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) for data received on the secondary component carrier is transmitted using a supplemental TDD configuration. A transmission or retransmission on the secondary component carrier uses a supplemental TDD configuration as well. The supplemental TDD configuration is different from the secondary TDD configuration. Furthermore, an uplink supplemental configuration may be different from a downlink supplemental configuration.

Radio communication apparatus and radio communication method

Provided is a radio communication device which can make Acknowledgement (ACK) reception quality and Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) reception quality to be equal to each other. The device includes: a scrambling unit (214) which multiplies a response signal after modulated, by a scrambling code “1” or “e.sup.−j(π/2)”, so as to rotate a constellation for each of response signals on a cyclic shift axis; a spread unit (215) which performs a primary spread of the response signal by using a Zero Auto Correlation (ZAC) sequence set by a control unit (209); and a spread unit (218) which performs a secondary spread of the response signal after subjected to the primary spread, by using a block-wise spread code sequence set by the control unit (209).

Method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving signal of device-to-device communication terminal in wireless communication system

An embodiment of the present invention is a device-to-device (D2D) signal receiving method in which a terminal receives a D2D signal in a wireless communication system. The method includes the steps of: receiving a first medium access control protocol data unit (MAC PDU); receiving a second MAC PDU; and determining whether to combine the first MAC PDU and the second MAC PDU in order to decode; wherein whether to combine the first MAC PDU and the second MAC PDU in order to decode is determined from the number of transmissions of MAC PDUs and an NDI that have been instructed to the terminal.

Transmission of UL control channels with dynamic structures

A method of a user equipment (UE) for transmitting acknowledgement information. The method comprises receiving a physical downlink control channel conveying a downlink control information (DCI) format, a physical downlink shared channel conveying one or more data transport blocks scheduled by the DCI format, and configuration information for transmission of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) conveying acknowledgement information in response to the reception of the one or more data transport blocks; and transmitting the PUCCH in time-frequency resources within a first slot. An index of the first slot is configured by the DCI format. The time-frequency resources within the first slot are configured by the DCI format through a configuration of an index of a first symbol, a number of consecutive slot symbols, and an index of a first frequency resource block.

Techniques are described relating to hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback using a HARQ-ACK aggregation window. A User Equipment (UE) may receive control information (e.g., downlink control information (DCI) or radio resource control (RRC) signaling) from a base station including HARQ-ACK codebook information. The HARQ-ACK codebook information may include information on a size of a HARQ-ACK aggregation window. The UE may decode physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions and encode corresponding HARQ-ACK feedback using the HARQ-ACK aggregation window based on the control signaling.

Peak-to-average-power reduction for OFDM multiple access
11700162 · 2023-07-11 · ·

An Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmitter generates OFDM multiple-access signals with low Peak-to-Average-Power Ratio (PAPR). A code-division multiplexer arranges original data symbols from different data streams inside each length-N symbol block, which is spread by a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) spreader. The arrangement of the original data symbols configures the DFT spreader to spread each original data symbol into a predetermined spread-DFT code division multiple access channel. The resulting DFT-spread data symbols are mapped to OFDM subcarriers, and an inverse discrete Fourier transform (IDFT) operates on the DFT-spread data symbols to generate an OFDM transmission signal having low PAPR.
