A method includes detecting a first operation, where the first operation is used to trigger sending an object on an application program, and the object includes a video file, an audio file, a picture, or a page that contains a link; in response to the first operation, determining a traffic value for loading the object, and displaying the traffic value in an input box of a to-be-sent screen; detecting a second operation, where the second operation is used to determine to send the object and information that includes at least the traffic value; and in response to the second operation, sending the object and the information that includes at least the traffic value.

Embodiments are disclosed that provision a cloud-based service together with a dedicated network connection to provision a cloud-based service element. In response to the request both the cloud-based service element and a dedicated network connection are provisioned. Provisioning the cloud-based service element together with the dedicated network connection enables the cloud-based service element to utilize the dedicated network connection.

In some examples, a cloud-services management tool for managing cloud services of an entity includes a processor and a storage device communicatively coupled to the processor. The storage device stores computer-executable instructions, which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to cause, via a display device, display of a user interface including one or more lists of available technology resources based on a user of the entity, receive, via a network interface, a user selection including at least one technology resource from the one or more lists of available technology resources, determine the at least one technology resource is provided by at least one cloud-service provider of a list of cloud-service providers, the list of cloud-service providers a list of cloud-service providers authorized by the entity, and manage the at least one technology resource provided by the at least one cloud-service provider based on the user selection.

Technologies for converting mobile communications network billing records include a billing record converter system. The billing record converter system receives a data usage billing record associated with a mobile computing device communicatively coupled to a long term evolution wireless communications network. The received data usage billing record is formatted according to a real-time data usage billing record format. The received data usage billing record is converted into a new data usage billing record formatted according to a roaming data usage billing record format that corresponds to a legacy wireless communications network. The new data usage billing record is transmitted to a billing system of the legacy wireless communications network for processing. In some embodiments, the billing record converter system cumulates and converts multiple data usage billing records associated with the mobile computing device into the new data usage billing record. An environment is described in which a processing system provides application-level usage information to users. In one scenario, for example, the processing system may provide personal usage information to a user who is operating a user device. The personal usage information itemizes the amount of data (and/or other resources) that has been consumed by each application run by the user device. In another scenario, the processing system may provide expected usage information associated with at least one candidate application provided by a marketplace system. The expected usage information describes an expected consumption of data (and/or other resources) by the candidate application upon running the candidate application by the user device. The processing system can tailor the expected usage information that it sends to a particular user based on user profile data.
