System and method for managing and selecting from multiple mobile data top-up product options
A system and method for providing top-up of mobile data, by processing one or more transactions between a data sponsor and a data beneficiary who is possibly being served by multiple data providers. The top-up can be based on i) an application program interface (API) call being made into the mobile network operator of a data user or ii) an API call being made into a sponsored data (SD) platform/system (SDS) to allocate a quota to the data user, among other possible product options. In the first option, provisioning of the data quota and consumption against the quota is managed directly by the mobile network operator itself. In the second option, allocation of the quota and consumption against the quota is managed by the SDS and an SD control app. The system can select a particular option because that option best meets one or more business goals or rules.
THREE TIERS OF SAAS PROVIDERS FOR DEPLOYING COMPUTE AND NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE PUBLIC CLOUD
Some embodiments establish for an entity a virtual network over several public clouds of several public cloud providers and/or in several regions. In some embodiments, the virtual network is an overlay network that spans across several public clouds to interconnect one or more private networks (e.g., networks within branches, divisions, departments of the entity or their associated datacenters), mobile users, and SaaS (Software as a Service) provider machines, and other web applications of the entity. The virtual network in some embodiments can be configured to optimize the routing of the entity's data messages to their destinations for best end-to-end performance, reliability and security, while trying to minimize the routing of this traffic through the Internet. Also, the virtual network in some embodiments can be configured to optimize the layer 4 processing of the data message flows passing through the network.
Access point with controller for billing and generating income for access point owner
A modified end user network access point includes a switching module and a controller to track usage of the end user network access point by wirelessly connected end user devices. The tracked usage information is transmitted from the end user network access point to a remotely coupled data center. The data center collects usage information from a plurality of different end user network access points. The collected usage information is in turn transmitted from the data center to a network carrier. The network carrier uses the received usage information to bill users for accessing the end user network access points and using any services provided by the end user network access points. An owner of each end user network access point is compensated by the network carrier each instance that an end user device utilizes the end user network access point to access the network carrier's communications network.

System and method for enabling terminal equipments to use ADSL and LTE infrastructures for internet access
Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable LTE unaware devices to access Internet by reusing ADSL billing and OSS infrastructure in a LTE deployment by enabling the LTE to provide a transparent Internet pipe through which multiple terminal equipments (TEs) can be connected to a single CPE, and at the same time enabling each user to be billed separately using the existing broadband remote access servers (BRAS).
Methods and Systems for Implementing Differential Pricing Configurations
Methods for implementing different pricing configurations by a server system are disclosed. The server system provides an application programming interface (API) for one or more network operators and receives, from a network operator via the API, a first request for a pricing configuration for network access for one or more internet protocol (IP) addresses hosted by the network operator. The server system retrieves the pricing configuration and provides a response to the first request to the network operator via the API that includes the pricing configuration.
Computerized system and method for rating wireless roaming
Disclosed is a system and method for wireless data clearing and settlement. The disclosed systems and methods relate towards near real-time ratings for purposes of wireless rating for data clearing and financial settlement. The present disclosure reconciles differing rating attribute formats using flexible matching. The disclosed systems and methods apply known negotiated rates for Home Service Provider (HSP) users roaming onto a VNP hotspot, and apply a standardized set of attributes of the contract with the applicable HSP, and other attributes applying a different set of rates to another HSP. The present disclosure provides systems and methods that enable traffic to be offloaded more easily from the Wide Area Networks (WAN) or macro networks.
Group messaging system
A data processing method performed in a group messaging server of a mobile telecommunications network, the method comprising the steps of receiving an incoming message at the group messaging server from a remote user terminal, the message being for distribution to a group of users; storing details of the incoming message in a messaging log, the details comprising a message identifier received with the incoming message; identifying at least one recipient from the group of users to which the incoming message should be transmitted; transmitting an outgoing message to each of the at least one recipient, wherein the outgoing message comprises at least part of the incoming message and the message identifier; storing details of each outgoing message in the message log, the details comprising the message identifier; and processing the message log to identify groups of messages, wherein the groups of messages are identified by having a common message identifier, and generating charging data based on the groups of messages.
Communication control device, communication control system and communication control method
A communication control device, includes a terminal information acquisition unit which acquires terminal-related information including communication service information relating to a communication service executed, and network information relating to a network, a selection unit which selects, among a plurality of combinations of networks each of which can be used by each of a plurality of communication services, a combination of networks having a smallest total communication cost to be charged for each of the plurality of communication services in each of the plurality combinations of networks, on the basis of the terminal-related information, and network-related information including communication cost information, and communication bandwidth information, and a network control unit which executes a network control such that the networks used respectively by each of the plurality of communication services are the selected combination of networks.
