A video aggregator can multiplex multimedia content, the multiplexed multimedia content being directed to a plurality of customer premises equipment, and aggregate the multiplexed multimedia content into a reduced number of broadcast channels to release at least one of bandwidth and radio frequency spectrum, not included in the reduced number of broadcast channels, for other applications. A system controller can electronically control delivery of the aggregated and multiplexed multimedia content to the plurality of customer premises equipment within the reduced number of broadcast channels, receive a request for unavailable other content, and electronically control delivery of the unavailable other content. A system processor can determine whether other content, the other content being at least one of not currently being broadcast via the aggregated and multiplexed multimedia content into a reduced number of broadcast channels and not stored by a particular customer premises equipment, is unavailable to the particular customer premises equipment to determine the unavailable other content, and formulate the request for the unavailable other content if the other content is determined to be unavailable.

Device Group Partitions and Settlement Platform

Device group partitions and a settlement platform are provided. In some embodiments, device group partitions (e.g., partitions of devices based on associated device groups) are provided. In some embodiments, a settlement platform service is provided. In some embodiments, a settlement platform service is provided for partitioned devices. In some embodiments, collecting device generated service usage information for one or more devices in wireless communication on a wireless network; and aggregating the device generated service usage information for a settlement platform for the one or more devices in wireless communication on the wireless network is provided. In some embodiments, a settlement platform implements a service billing allocation and/or a service/transactional revenue share among one or more partners. In some embodiments, service usage information includes micro-CDRs, which are used for CDR mediation or reconciliation that provides for service usage accounting on any device activity that is desired. In some embodiments, each device activity that is desired to be associated with a billing event is assigned a micro-CDR transaction code, and a service processor of the device is programmed to account for that activity associated with that transaction code. In some embodiments, a service processor executing on a wireless communications device periodically reports (e.g., during each heartbeat or based on any other periodic, push, and/or pull communication technique(s)) micro-CDR usage measures to, for example, a service controller or some other network element for CDR mediation or reconciliation.

HYBRID VIDEO TIME-BANDWIDTH PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT (HVTBPI) RECEPTION
20190230394 · 2019-07-25 ·

The disclosure is directed to an apparatus that can include a first receiver, a second receiver, a video demultiplexor, and an assembly engine. The first receiver can receive multiplexed multimedia content and advertisement, the multiplexed multimedia content and advertisement being received over a reduced number of broadcast channels to release at least one of bandwidth and radio frequency spectrum, not included in the reduced number of broadcast channels, for other applications. The second receiver can receive unavailable other content, the unavailable other content being other content that is different from the multiplexed multimedia content and advertisement and unavailable to the apparatus. The video demultiplexor can demultiplex the received multiplexed multimedia content and advertisement from the reduced number of broadcast channels to produce a multimedia content and an advertisement and store, within a storage device, the multimedia content and the advertisement.

Network connection system

A system and method for automatically negotiating Internet access between a user and one of a plurality of Internet connection providers. Users can buy or bid for Internet bandwidth, for example, through a server or website or by direct communications with an Internet access point such as, for example, a WIFI access point.

TECHNOLOGIES FOR PROVIDING FUNCTION AS SERVICE TIERED SCHEDULING AND MAPPING FOR MULTI-OPERATOR ARCHITECTURES

Technologies for determining a set of edge resources to offload a workload from a client compute device based on a brokering logic provided by a service provider include a device that includes circuitry that is in communication with edge resources. The circuitry is to receive a brokering logic from a service provider receive a request from a client compute device, wherein the request includes a function to be used to execute the request and one or more parameters associated with the client compute device, determine the one or more parameters, select, as a function of the one or more parameters and the brokering logic, a physical implementation to perform the function, wherein the physical implementation indicates a set of edge resources and a performance level for each edge resource of the set of edge resources, and perform, in response to a selection of the physical implementation, the request using the set of edge resources associated with the physical implementation.

ETHERNET TYPE PACKET DATA UNIT SESSION COMMUNICATIONS

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A policy control function may determine a policy and charging control rule comprising one or more Ethernet source MAC addresses and a quality of service policy. The policy control function may send the policy and charging control rule to a session management function to provide an Ethernet PDU session for a wireless device.

ETHERNET TYPE PACKET DATA UNIT SESSION COMMUNICATIONS

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A session management function may provide to a user plane function one or more messages comprising an Ethernet packet filter set and/or information for at least one policy rule.
