Systems and methods for operating an event with an online conferencing component. The methods comprise: receiving, by a feedback processing system, a user input selecting an event from a plurality of scheduled events which each have an online conferencing component provided by a web conferencing service; enabling, by the feedback processing system, an electronic feedback message composing function and a numerical rating selection function for a duration of time determined based on a duration setting of a timer; performing, by the feedback processing system, the electronic feedback message composing function to compose an electronic feedback message for an individual associated with the selected event; and performing, by the feedback processing system, the numerical rating selection function to select a numerical rating for the individual associated with the selected event.

The present invention proposes a method for transmitting a broadcast signal. The method for transmitting a broadcast signal according to the present invention proposes a system which may support a next generation broadcast service, in an environment supporting next generation hybrid broadcast that uses a terrestrial broadcast network and an internet network. Further, the present invention proposes an efficient signaling method which can cover both the terrestrial broadcast network and the internet network, in an environment supporting next generation hybrid broadcast.

An apparatus and a method for providing information used for generating and consuming multimedia content in a broadcast system supporting a multimedia service based on an Internet protocol are provided. The method includes composing a message type field containing information indicating on a type of control information contained in the control message, composing a length field containing information on the length of the control message, composing optional fields having different values according to the type of the control information, and composing a payload field containing content of the control information.

The present invention proposes a method for transmitting a broadcast signal. The method for transmitting a broadcast signal according to the present invention proposes a system which may support a next generation broadcast service, in an environment supporting next generation hybrid broadcast that uses a terrestrial broadcast network and an internet network. Some embodiments include systems, methods, and devices for enabling communication between at least two internet protocol (IP)-only wireless transmit/receive units (WTRUs), at least one of which is connected to an information centric network (ICN). The WTRU may send a generic attribute registration multicast registration protocol (GMRP) request on a local IP link to an information centric network (ICN) network attachment point (NAP). The NAP may receive and register the GMRP request with an internal data-base (DB) along with an IP multicast address entry matching the GMRP request. The WTRU may then send an IP multicast packet to the NAP for dissemination to an IP multicast group over an ICN by encapsulating the IP multicast packet in an ICN packet.

Disclosed herein are systems and methods for scalable and secure transmission of multicast data over a public communication network. In exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure, a virtual overlay network can be presented as a single virtual interface to a computing device, for the receipt and transfer of multicast data in a secure and scalable manner across a public insecure communication network.

A multicast data packet processing method performed by an intermediate node of a multicast tree includes: receiving a first Bit Index Explicit Replication (BIER) packet including a first label; obtaining, according to the first label, a second label corresponding to a multicast tree including the intermediate node; and obtaining a second BIER packet according to the second label and the first BIER packet, and sending the second BIER packet which includes the second label.

There is provided a method in a network element of a wireless communication network, the method comprising: receiving a service request from a service provider; initiating determination of a transmission scheme for the service request; obtaining multicast capability information on a plurality of terminal devices and network nodes; obtaining distribution information on the plurality of terminal devices; obtaining traffic load information on the network nodes; based on the multicast capability information, the distribution information, and the traffic load information, determining the transmission scheme for the service request, the transmission scheme including at least one unicast transmission and at least one multicast transmission; and indicating one or more unicast transmitting entities about the at least one unicast transmissions and indicating one or more multicast transmitting entities about the at least one multicast transmissions.

A system for centralized status monitoring in a multidomain network. The system includes at least one processor and at least one memory device storing instructions that when executed configure the processor to perform operations. The operations include establishing connections with domains, receiving a first request from a first domain to initiate a monitoring operation, and generating a new entry in a status table stored in a first database. The operations also may include receiving a second request from the second domain to update the monitoring operation and, in response to receiving the second request, updating the new entry in the status table by modifying the status field. The operations may also include applying a monitor operation in response to receiving a third request from a monitoring engine and generating an alert comprising entries in the status table in which the status field matches the category status.

There is provided a method in a network element of a wireless communication network, the method comprising: receiving a service request from a service provider; initiating determination of a transmission scheme for the service request; obtaining multicast capability information on a plurality of terminal devices and network nodes; obtaining distribution information on the plurality of terminal devices; obtaining traffic load information on the network nodes; based on the multicast capability information, the distribution information, and the traffic load information, determining the transmission scheme for the service request, the transmission scheme including at least one unicast transmission and at least one multicast transmission; and indicating one or more unicast transmitting entities about the at least one unicast transmissions and indicating one or more multicast transmitting entities about the at least one multicast transmissions.
