Managing multicast group traffic
Some examples relate to managing multicast group traffic. In an example, a switch anchor controller receives a request for a multicast group from an associated network switch in a multicast-capable network. The associated network switch registers to the switch anchor controller in the multicast-capable network. In response to the request, the switch anchor controller selects a non-anchor controller in the multicast-capable network to serve the multicast group to the associated network switch. The switch anchor controller provides the information related to the non-anchor controller to the associated network switch, which in response creates a specific multicast tunnel between the associated network switch and the non-anchor controller to transfer multicast traffic related to the multicast group.
Method and device of path optimization for UAV, and storage medium thereof
Disclosed is a method of path optimization for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In the method, users and the positions of the users are obtained; the users are divided into K wireless multicast user groups; K initial hovering positions corresponding to the K wireless multicast user groups are determined; and a first shortest flying path connecting the K initial hovering positions is determined; and the initial hovering positions of the UAV are optimized to obtain K final hovering positions and a final flying path. The present disclosure also discloses a device of path optimization for a UAV and a computer readable storage medium.
Secure rich communication services multicast system
An improved telecommunications network that can reduce the network load on a rich communication services (RCS) server and/or local routers that implement 1-to-N and/or M-to-N services is described herein. In particular, the improved telecommunications network may include an improved RCS server that can route secure multicast messages instead of and/or in addition to unicast messages. For example, the improved RCS server can create a multicast group for a group of UEs in response to a request from a UE to create a group of UEs. Creation of the multicast group may include creating a shared multicast group key (SMGK) for the multicast group and/or selecting a security algorithm for the multicast group. The improved RCS server can then distribute the SMGK and/or the selected security algorithm to the UEs such that the UEs can use the SMGK and/or the selected security algorithm to encrypt and/or decrypt messages.
Rich communication services multicast system
An improved telecommunications network that can reduce the network load on a rich communication services (RCS) server and/or local routers that implement 1-to-N and/or M-to-N services is described herein. In particular, the improved telecommunications network may include an improved RCS server that can route multicast messages instead of and/or in addition to unicast messages. For example, the improved RCS server can create a multicast group for a group of UEs in response to a request from a UE to create a group of UEs. Creation of the multicast group may include assigning a group Internet protocol (IP) address to the multicast group. The improved RCS server can then determine which UEs in the multicast group are capable of sending and/or receiving multicast messages, and send multicast messages instead of unicast messages to these UEs.
Systems and methods for automatically assigning voice communication channels
Systems and methods for assigning voice communication channels used by a crew of employees using communication devices are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: electronically store information, wherein the information represents associations of individual voice communication channels with one or more communication groups; receive user input that identifies employees, automatically determine sets of communication channel assignments per communication device, between communication channels and subsets of communication groups; configure communication devices according to the determined assignments; and facilitate packet-based communication, using the communication channels, between the communication devices.

Machine learning can assign connectivity values to other community members, including individuals, companies, products, brands, cities or neighborhoods, etc. Connectivity values may be automatically harvested from or assigned by third parties or based on the frequency and/or type of interactions between community members. Connectivity values may represent such factors as alignment, reputation within the community, degree of trust, competence at one or more skills, or compatibility with others. The degree and type of connectivity between two entities may be assessed by computing a connectivity value based upon connections between entities and relative or absolute trust, competence and/or compatibility features of the connections. Connectivity values identify best prospects (customers, hires, dates), find off-grid people, underwrite insurance, ‘decision’ loans & collections, shorten sales cycles, etc.
Method for recommending groups and related electronic device
The disclosure provides a method for recommending a group, a related electronic device, and a computer readable storage medium. At least two groups to be joined are obtained. For the groups to be joined, group quality indexes are determined depending on attribute information of the groups. One or more group is recommended depending on the group quality indexes.
Remote desktop system and image data sharing method
A remote desktop system includes a primary virtual machine, a plurality of secondary virtual machines, a primary terminal configured to log in to the primary virtual machine, and a secondary terminal configured to log in to a secondary virtual machine. When a user of the primary virtual machine needs to share image data of the primary virtual machine with a user of the secondary terminal for viewing, the primary virtual machine sends the image data to the primary terminal, and then the primary terminal shares the image data with the secondary terminal. This reduces data transmission pressure on a communications network between a virtual machine center and a terminal center.
Methods, apparatus and machine-readable mediums relating to establishment of broadcast/multicast bearers
Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method performed by a broadcast/multicast server for a communication network. The method comprises: receiving, from an application server, a request to establish a broadcast/multicast bearer in the communication network; allocating resources associated with the broadcast/multicast bearer in the communication network; and sending, to the application server, a response message comprising an indication of whether the allocation of the resources associated with the broadcast/multicast bearer is ongoing or not. Corresponding apparatus and methods and apparatus in the application server, are also provided.
