One method includes generating, by a system platform, a multicast scheduling control packet based upon a distribution of a plurality of hubs, communicating, by the system platform, to a wireless communication base station the multicast scheduling control packet, generating, by the wireless communication base station, a plurality of multicast channel configurations based upon the multicast scheduling control packet, communicating, by the system platform, the multicast scheduling control packet to a wireless communication hub, wherein the wireless communication hub is one of the plurality of hubs, selecting, by the wireless communication hub, specific multicast channels from the plurality of multicast channel configurations, to receive specific multicast data based upon a condition of the hub and the multicast scheduling control packet, and receiving, by the wireless communication hub, multicast data through the selected specific multicast channel configurations.

Assessment and dynamic quarantine of devices with anomalous behavioral pattern

In computer networks, unicast and multicast are information transmission methods. Multicast is when one sender station or device transfers information to all of the other stations or devices in the computer network. Multicast packets sent from devices in a network can be sent directly to a server that will monitor and record the number of multicast packets being submitted from each device in the network. The server may perform actions to regulate the transmission of multicast packets if one or more devices is transmitting too many multicast packets in the network. Thus, the server will be able to monitor and regulate the performance, security, and traffic flow of data in the network, and prevent any deficiency in the network communication due to an excess amount of multicast packets being transmitted.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SENDING MULTICAST PACKET AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OBTAINING FORWARDING ENTRY

A method for sending a multicast packet provided in embodiments of this application includes: a first network device obtains a first multicast packet, where the first multicast packet includes a bit string bit string and an identifier of a network slice, the bit string corresponds to a second network device, and the network slice corresponds to a multicast service of the second network device. The first network device obtains, based on the bit string and the identifier of the network slice, a first interface corresponding to the network slice. The first network device sends the first multicast packet to the second network device by using the first interface.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING AND PRESENTING VIRTUAL EVENTS

Systems, programs, and media for creating virtual events and presenting the virtual event content to attendees of the virtual events are described herein. A virtual event hosting system may receive input from an event creator for creating an event comprising stages, sessions, networking, and expos. The event may provide a virtual environment for presenting users to make presentations and attendees to view and interact with the presenting users and other attendees. Data associated with the event and the attendees may be collected for analysis to improve engagement in future virtual events.

Feedback based adaptation of multicast transmission offset

A node (260) of a cellular network node sends data units to a group of base stations (200). Each data unit is configured for conveying multicast data to be sent by the base stations (200) in a synchronized manner at a starting time indicated in the data unit. For each of the data units, the node (260) determines the starting time as the sum of the time of sending the data unit from the node and an offset value. Further, the node (260) obtains feedback information from the base stations (200) of the group. The feedback information indicates a deviation of the starting time indicated in one of the data units (411) from an earliest possible time of sending the multicast data from the data unit (411) by the base stations (200) of the group. Depending on the feedback information, the node (260) adapts the offset value.

TRANSMISSION OF EXCESS DATA OF A MULTICAST SERVICE ON ANOTHER RADIO COMMUNICATION RESOURCE
20170353945 · 2017-12-07 ·

A method of transmission of excess data associated with a multicast service is scheduled on another radio communication resource. The multicast service may be MBMS or push-to-talk. The method includes determining, at the eNodeB base station, that an amount of data to be multicast during an upcoming scheduling period exceeds the associated multicast communication resource, and accordingly temporarily allocate additional resources on another multicast service communication resource, or else on resources dedicated to conventional services, or else on both kind of resources simultaneously. The base station transmits an indication to the UE(s) about the additional allocation(s) by using MCH scheduling information, such signaling comprising a logical channel identification, LCID, field.
