Systems and methods for alert services
Embodiments relate to systems, processes and devices for an information delivery platform or data hub with an alert processor that can be configured to receive a request to generate an alert configuration at the data hub, the request indicating a target unit; generate and store an alert rule corresponding to the alert configuration, the alert rule having a trigger and an action; detect an event at the data hub based on a set of data of the data stored at the data hub, the event having event data; convert the event data to an alert trigger at the data hub based on the trigger of the alert rule; generate an alert notification for the alert trigger based on the action of the alert rule; and transmit the alert notification to the target unit.
Emergency communication system and method
An emergency communication system and method are disclosed. Pre-arranged lists of specific groups of public users and contact information, a plurality of possible emergency conditions defining a push notification for an effective emergency response, and a plurality of landing web pages with group-specific displays of emergency directives tailored to one of the specific groups are stored. Each push notification includes an electronically actuatable link. A control module selects a pre-arranged list upon an occurrence of one of the possible emergency conditions, and a dispatch module dispatches the push notification corresponding to the possible emergency condition to the specific groups in the selected pre-arranged list. A secure emergency directive website serves a landing web page in response to the electronically actuatable link as triggered by the specific groups of public users and enables the public users to navigate to the group-specific displays of emergency directives tailored to those specific groups.
Systems and methods for utilizing machine learning to identify vehicle surroundings, route conditions, and points of interest
An in-vehicle device may receive an alert that includes first vehicle identifying a first vehicle and first location data identifying a first location, and may determine whether a second location of the in-vehicle device is in a geographic area associated with the first location. The in-vehicle device may cause, when the second location is determined to be in the geographic area associated with the first location, images or video to be captured of second vehicles, and may process the captured images or video, with a machine learning model, to determine second vehicle data in real time relative to capturing the images or video. The in-vehicle device may determine whether the second vehicle data substantially includes the first vehicle data, and may provide a notification to a device when the second vehicle data substantially includes the first vehicle data.
Data transmission using alert signals to carry data
Various embodiments provide for data transmission using alert signals to carry data, which can be used in such applications as data network communications between sensors (e.g., cameras, motion, radar, etc.) and computing equipment within vehicles (e.g., smart and autonomous cars).
Systems, methods and devices for the rapid assessment and deployment of appropriate modular aid solutions in response to disasters
An embodiment of a disaster response system is disclosed that includes a communication and monitoring environment (CME). The CME includes an incident command infrastructure, and a communication infrastructure configured to exchange data with the incident command infrastructure. The communication infrastructure includes a network comprising a plurality of sensor assemblies that are configured to wirelessly communicate with the communication infrastructure. The sensor assemblies are configured to acquire data that includes at least one of environmental conditions, motion, position, chemical detection, and medical information. One or more of the sensors are configured to aggregate data from a subset of the plurality of sensors. The CME is configured to detect an incident based on at least the data acquired by the sensor assemblies.
Vehicular safety monitoring
Disclosed herein is a vehicle theft prevention device. The device can include a data store including event configuration data. The device can include one or more sensors that can sense various types of measurements proximate to a vehicle. The device can include a computing device in communication with the sensors. The computing device can read measurements from the sensors and determine that a particular event has occurred. The computing device can analyze the measurements to determine the particular event occurred based on the event configuration data. When the particular event occurs, the computing device can perform one or more remedial actions.
Thermostat and system and method for use of same
A thermostat and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, multiple wireless transceivers are located within a housing, which also interconnectively includes a processor, memory, and a camera. To improve convenience, the thermostat may establish a pairing with a proximate wireless-enabled interactive programmable device having a display. Virtual remote control functionality for various amenities may then be provided. To improve safety, the thermostat may be incorporated into a geolocation and safety network and, under certain conditions, the thermostat may provide a video feed.
PERSONALIZED USER ENGAGEMENT SYSTEM USING OPERATING SYSTEM NOTIFICATION SCRIPT
Systems and methods for user engagement are provided. The methods may include retrieving user information of a user from a local registry on a user computing device; delivering a notification of personalized content to the user using an interface of the user computing device, wherein the notification is generated based at least on the user information retrieved from the local registry; and delivering the personalized content to the user based on an interaction of the user with the notification. The systems may include a user computing device including a user interface configured to interact with a user, a storage device configured to store thereon a local registry, and a user engagement software module configured to retrieve user information of a from the local registry; and a content server configured to store a personalized content.
Passing control of inserting third-party content into a media stream
A first server controls insertion of media content into a media stream, and transmits the media stream from the first server to a media player. The first server also transmits, to a second server, information linking a particular consumer to both a third-party service and to the media player. Control of inserting media content into the media stream is passed from the first server to the second server. The second server receives consumer-specific content associated with the particular consumer from the third-party service, and maps the consumer-specific content to the media player based, at least in part, on the information linking the particular consumer to both the third-party service and to the media player. The second server then inserts the consumer-specific content into the media stream during a time period the second server is in control of inserting media content into the media stream.
Geolocation pathogen-risk assessment with pandemic-bio-surveillance multi pathogen systems
Provided is a process, including: obtaining geographic regions and geolocations that are places of interest within those geographic regions; obtaining first data about at least some of the plurality of geolocations, wherein the first data is not pathogen specific; obtaining second data about at least some of the plurality of geolocations, wherein the second data is pathogen-specific; determining geolocation-pathogen-risk scores of the geographic regions based on both the first data and the second data; determining geolocation-pathogen-risk scores of the places of interest with a machine learning model trained to allocate risk of geographic regions to places of interest based on at least some of the first data.
