Communicating with and controlling load control systems
An apparatus may display a home dashboard screen. The home dashboard screen may include a rooms function that when selected, causes display of a rooms screen. The rooms screen may list rooms. The rooms screen may present a back button that when selected, causes display of the home dashboard screen. When one of the rooms is selected, a room dashboard screen may be displayed. The room dashboard screen may list selectable functions, and may present a back button and a “Go To Rooms” button either of which when selected may cause display of the rooms screen. When a selectable function is selected, a control screen may be displayed. The control screen may present controls for receiving a control input, and may present a back button that when selected, causes display of the room dashboard screen, and a “Go To Rooms” button that when selected, causes display of the rooms screen.

A network media environment includes a first hub network and a second hub network. The first hub network encompasses a first local environment based on a first server which is coupled to a first client. The second hub network encompasses a second local environment based on a second server which is also coupled to the first client. The first local environment and the second local environment overlap. A service management system communicates via wide area network with gateway devices located at respective user premises. The service management system remotely manages delivery of application services, which can be voice controlled, by a gateway, e.g. by selectively activating/deactivating service logic modules in the gateway. The service management system also may selectively provide secure communications and exchange of information among gateway devices and among associated endpoint devices. An exemplary service management system includes a router connected to the network and one or more computer platforms, for implementing management functions. Examples of the functions include a connection manager for controlling system communications with the gateway devices, an authentication manager for authenticating each gateway device and controlling the connection manager and a subscription manager for managing applications services and/or features offered by the gateway devices. A service manager, controlled by the subscription manager, distributes service specific configuration data to authenticated gateway devices.

Building automation system providing for integration of subsystems
There is described a building automation system comprising a control center and an adapter for providing integration of subsystems. The adapter facilitates communications between the control center and a subsystem of the building automation system. A subsystem library of the control center receives an object model associated with the subsystem from the user interface. An extraction tool of the control center generates output information based on the object model. The control center is mapped to the adapter, so that a thing description may be communicated there between. The thing description includes a description of instances hosted by the adapter and representing the object model. An auto discovery component of the control center creates instances of the object model based on the thing description and addresses properties of the object model. The building automation system utilizes the instances and the addresses to manage the subsystem associated with the object model.
