The cooler further includes a lock configured to maintain door in a closed position when the lock is engaged. The cooler includes a cooling unit configured to maintain the cabinet at a predetermined temperature and a temperature sensor arranged within the cabinet that detects a temperature within the cabinet. A control unit is in communication with the cooling unit and the temperature sensor, and the control unit is configured to control the cooling unit to maintain a temperature within the cabinet at a predetermined temperature as determined by the temperature sensor. The control unit may be configured to lock the door until a temperature within the cabinet is at the predetermined temperature.
DISPLAY CASE DOOR WITH SEALED GLASS UNIT AND ELECTRONIC DISPLAY
A display case door includes a sealed glass unit assembly, a door frame, and an electronic display. The sealed glass unit assembly includes a sealed glass unit and a subframe extending about and coupled to the sealed glass unit. The subframe includes a set of two or more subframe rails configured to hold the sealed glass unit. The door frame is coupled to the subframe and configured to support the sealed glass unit assembly in the door frame. The electronic display is coupled to the door frame in front of the sealed glass unit. The door frame is configured to couple with a display case enclosure in an opening of the display case enclosure.
ELECTRONIC DISPLAY MOUNTING IN DISPLAY CASE DOOR
A display case door includes an insulated panel assembly, a door frame, and one or more mounting blocks. The insulated panel assembly is transparent to visible light. The door frame extends about and is coupled to the insulated panel assembly. The one or more mounting blocks are coupled to and extend inwardly from the door frame. The electronic display assembly includes an electronic display, and one or more side brackets coupled to the electronic display. At least one of the side brackets of the electronic display assembly is coupled to at least one of the one or more mounting blocks. The electronic display is at least partially supported on at least one of the one or more mounting blocks.
DOOR FOR HOME APPLIANCE, HOME APPLIANCE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A door for a home appliance, a home appliance, and a method for manufacturing the same, are disclosed. The door for a home appliance comprises a panel assembly; and a frame assembly defining a predetermined space having an opening connected with an edge of the panel assembly, and making a foaming space for receiving a thermal insulator by means of the predetermined space of the frame assembly and the edge of the panel assembly, wherein a foaming injection hole through which the thermal insulator is injected is provided on at least one of ends of an upper surface, a lower surface, a left side and a right side of the frame assembly.
Lighting assembly for electronic display and graphic
A transparent electronic display layer is placed between a front and rear transparent layer. A light guide is positioned behind the transparent electronic display layer and has an outer edge. Lighting elements are positioned adjacent to the outer edge. A cavity is positioned adjacent to and on an opposing side of the lighting elements as compared to the light guide such that light exiting the lighting elements enters both the light guide and the cavity. A graphic may be provided at the cavity.
Thermal frame
The invention features a refrigerator cabinet door frame. The frame includes a thermally conductive outer frame, a thermally insulating inner frame member, and a sealing plate. The outer frame member includes a forward end having an outer surface that is disposed outside of a refrigerated cabinet with the frame mounted, and a rearward end defining a joint. The inner frame member includes a first end retained in the joint, and a second end. The sealing plate includes a first edge coupled to the outer frame member at the rearward end, forward of the joint, a second edge supported by the second end of the inner frame member, and a thermally conductive sealing surface. The first edge of the sealing plate is coupled to the outer frame member such that the sealing surface and the outer surface of the outer frame member together form a continuous heat transfer path.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet, a door configured to open/close the cabinet, an outer plate defining a front surface of the door and having an opening formed therein to pass through the door, a door liner defining a rear surface of the door, lighting members configured to illuminate storage spaces of the door and the cabinet, a transparent panel assembly mounted to shield the opening and allowing the storage spaces to be selectively seen according to an ON/OFF state of the lighting members, an insulator filled between the outer plate and the door liner, and a blocking part arranged inside the door along a periphery of the transparent panel assembly and detachably coupled to a peripheral surface of the transparent panel assembly to fix the transparent panel assembly.
Door for mounting a removable electronic display
In one general aspect, the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in a display case door that includes an insulated panel assembly that is transparent to visible light. The door further includes a door frame extending about and secured to a peripheral edge of the insulated panel assembly, an electronic display overlaying the insulated panel assembly, and at least one display retainer secured to the door frame and having a coupling end that mates with the electronic display to releasably secure the display to the door frame.
REFRIGERATOR AND TRANSPARENT PANEL ASSEMBLY FOR REFRIGERATOR
The present disclosure relates to a refrigerator and a transparent panel assembly for a refrigerator. The transparent panel assembly for a refrigerator comprises: a front panel defining at least a part of a front appearance of a refrigerator door and made of a glass material; a rear panel defining at least a part of a rear appearance of the refrigerator door and made of a transparent material; and an intermediate member connected between the front panel and the rear panel and made of a transparent plastic member, wherein the intermediate member comprises: an edge portion having both ends connected to a screening area formed at peripheries of the front panel and the rear panel; and a partition portion formed to cross an inner surface of the edge portion to partition a gap between the front panel and the rear panel to thereby form a sealed insulation layer.
