DISPLAY AND CONTROL OF LOAD CONTROL DEVICES IN A FLOORPLAN
A load control system may comprise an electrical load control device and/or a computing device. The electrical load control device may control, for example, motorized window treatments (e.g., shades), lighting controls, and/or sensors (e.g., occupancy, radio window, daylight, etc.). For example, a load control device comprising a motorized window treatment may control the position of a covering material in the window treatment. The computing device may comprise a processor and/or a graphical user interface (GUI). The computing device may be a server and/or a user device, such as a wireless user device (e.g., a cellular phone, tablet, or laptop computer). The computing device may be configured to provide graphical representations that may be displayed on a GUI based on load control information.
System and Method for Automatically Managing a Living Space
A system and method for automatically managing a living space relates to Internet of Things (IoT) implementations within a commercial or residential location that allow for fully private management of collected data. Such a system enables users to automate many different functions within their homes and properties, including temperature management, room illumination, humidity, and more, in order to optimize for a chosen metric, such as comfort, energy efficiency, or cost efficiency. Because the user takes ownership over sensors, servers, and output devices, collected data may be parsed, organized, stored, applied, and otherwise utilized without risk of exposing collected data to external parties. This control enables users to develop various interfaces, algorithms, command signals, visuals, and more at will, thereby ensuring the user may customize a living space according to whatever desirable outcomes the user chooses. A user may add further subsystems and features at will, enabling complex and varied implementations.
Security network integrating security system and network devices
Systems and methods for a security network integrating security system and network devices are disclosed. A system may comprise a gateway and first and second security panels, each located at a premises. The first and second security panels may be connected, via respective first and second wireless communication protocols, to respective first and second security system components. The first and second security panels may receive respective first and second security data from the respective first and second security system components. The gateway may be configured to receive, via the first and second wireless communication protocols, the respective first and second security data. The gateway may be configured to transmit at least one of the first security data and the second security data to a security server located external to the premises.
Wirelessly Configuring Climate Control System Controls
In an exemplary system embodiment, a mobile device is configured to receive and/or determine a first identifier of the first HVAC control and to automatically configure one or more first settings for the first HVAC control corresponding with the first identifier. The one or more first settings are stored within and retrievable directly from the memory of the mobile device. The mobile device is also configured to receive and/or determine a second identifier of the second HVAC control and to automatically configure one or more second settings for the second HVAC control corresponding with the second identifier. The one or more second settings are stored within and retrievable directly from the memory of the mobile device for wireless transmission to the second HVAC control for download to a memory of the second HVAC control for controlling at least one HVAC component according to the one or more second settings.
COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) NETWORKS
A system and methods comprise a touchscreen at a premises. The touchscreen includes a processor coupled to a security system at the premises. User interfaces are presented via the touchscreen. The user interfaces include a security interface that provides control of functions of the security system and access to data collected by the security system, and a network interface that provides access to network devices. A camera at the premises is coupled to the touchscreen via a plurality of interfaces. A security server at a remote location is coupled to the touchscreen. The security server comprises a client interface through which remote client devices exchange data with the touchscreen and the security system.

Method for configuring remote access controlling, and supervising at least one home automation device belonging to a home automation installation
The present invention relates to a method of remotely configuring access to at least one home automation device (D) that is part of a home automation installation (Su), the home automation installation comprising at least one home automation device (D) and at least one central control unit (U), and the method being performed by a first remote access service (Svc1) carried out by a management unit and comprising the following steps: receiving (ECfSvc19; ECfSvc14) a remote access request (MP, Min) relating to at least one home automation device (D) linked to the profile of a user (Usr1) and intended for a second service (Svc2), the request being relative to an identifier (UsrlID1) of the user (UsrlID1) with the first service (Svc1); receiving (ECfSvc16, ECfSvc19) an authorization in reply to the access request by the user (Usr1); configuring (ECfSvc110) an access authorization repository so as to accept at least one control command (MCa) arriving from a second service (Svc2), or the transmission of monitoring data (MSa) to the second service (Svc2) for the home automation device (D) linked to the user profile (USr1). The invention also relates to a control and monitoring method.
Smart home controller refrigerator and control method therefor
The present invention relates to a smart home controller refrigerator and a control method therefor, the smart home controller refrigerator, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprising: a control unit comprising a control protocol communication unit for receiving control information for controlling a home appliance in a home, an operation protocol communication unit for generating an operation signal calculated from the control information, and a signal transmission unit for transmitting the operation signal to the home appliance; at least one storage space; and at least one door for controlling the opening/closing of the at least one storage space.
Device, system, and method of wirelessly controlling electronic devices and appliances
Devices, systems, and methods of wirelessly controlling appliances and electronic devices, such as ceiling fans, air conditioners, garage doors, or the like. A receive-only garage door system is wirelessly controlled by a proprietary remote control unit. A cloning unit is able to clone or duplicate the proprietary wireless signal, and to replay it or re-generate it in response to a triggering command that a user submitted via a smartphone or tablet; thereby enabling to control such garage door system via mobile electronic devices. The cloning unit utilizes recording of the wireless signal payload and carrier frequency; wireless signal analysis; image analysis of the appliance or of the remote control unit; queries to a remote server to obtain properties of the proprietary wireless signal; or other techniques of signal analysis or duplication.
