APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING SIMULTANEOUS DELIVERY OF OUTPUT COMMUNICATIONS
An apparatus, system, and method are provided herein to provide simultaneous delivery of output communications to a client device and a secondary client device are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include an apparatus including processing circuitry configured to: receive one or more electronic communications; configure the one or more electronic communications for presentation to the client device and the secondary client device based on the delivery identifier; and provide the one or more electronic communications to the client device via a wide area network to facilitate simultaneous delivery of the one or more output communications corresponding to the one or more electronic communications on the client device and the secondary client device. The one or more output communications may be provided to the secondary client device via the client device and a personal area network that is separate from the wide area network.
Channel parameter estimation method and related apparatus
The present disclosure provides example channel parameter estimation methods and related apparatuses. In one example method, a cable modem (CM) obtains a second data frame through a downlink channel between the CM and a cable modem termination system (CMTS). The second data frame is generated after a first data frame sent by the CMTS is modulated through the downlink channel, a zero-bit-loaded symbol of the first data frame includes no valid codeword, but includes a zero-bit-loaded NCP and an idle codeword identified by the zero-bit-loaded NCP, and the idle codeword includes a data sequence used for channel parameter estimation. The CM can estimate a channel parameter of the downlink channel based on a data sequence in an obtained zero-bit-loaded symbol of the second data frame and the data sequence in the zero-bit-loaded symbol of the first data frame.
COMMUNICATING OVER A LOCAL AREA NETWORK CONNECTION BETWEEN A RADIO ACCESS NODE AND A USER EQUIPMENT RELAY
This specification describes a method comprising generating a message for communication over a local area network connection between a radio access node and a user equipment relay, the message including: an identifier for indicating that the message includes control information for eliciting a responsive operation by a receiving one of the radio access node and the user equipment relay, and the control information, the method further comprising causing transmission of the generated message over the local area network connection from a transmitting one of the radio access node and the user equipment relay to the receiving one of the radio access node and the user equipment relay.
MANAGEMENT APPARATUS
An equipment management system includes a control terminal and a management apparatus. The control terminal transmits equipment information related to equipment. The management apparatus includes a CPU and an interface. The management apparatus controls the control terminal through a network. The CPU executes calculation of information processing that is based on information received from the control terminal, determines a load level corresponding to a load of the information processing by the calculation unit, and executes reduction control to reduce the load on the calculation unit in accordance with the load level. The interface being transmits the load level to the control terminal. The control terminal changes, in accordance with the load level, a communication condition of equipment information to be transmitted to the management apparatus.
Communication systems
A message communication system, such as a security system, having a distributed architecture includes a plurality of customer terminals, one or more proprietary routers, one or more automation systems, each customer terminal being associated with an associated at least one of the automation systems, wherein each customer terminal includes at least one communication address of at least one of the proprietary routers, the proprietary router including a routing table to forward the message to the associated automation system or a central station gateway linked to the automation system.
Separate PFCP session model for network access by residential gateways
A network element includes an aggregate gateway function having a control plane and a separate user plane, wherein the network element is configured to: establish a plurality of first packet forwarding control protocol sessions for a plurality of packet data unit sessions between the residential gateway and the network, each of the plurality of first packet forwarding control protocol sessions hosting a set of data packet forwarding rules for a respective packet data unit session among the plurality of packet data unit sessions; and facilitate network access by the residential gateway according to the plurality of first packet forwarding control protocol sessions.
Detecting VLAN misconfiguration
Disclosed are methods for detecting misconfigured VLANs. In some embodiments, traffic on a VLAN across multiple access points is categorized. Traffic on the VLAN at a single access point is then also categorized. The categorization of the VLAN traffic at the single access point can be in response to, for example, communication errors or other conditions. The two categorizations are then compared to determine if the VLAN traffic at the AP is consistent with the VLAN traffic across a network (e.g., an enterprise network). If the VLAN traffic at the AP is generally consistent with that across the network, this may indicate that a downstream network component, such as a switch or router, is misconfigured. Thus, some embodiments programmatically reconfigure the downstream component to forward traffic for the VLAN.
Method and system to enable a virtual private network client
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method comprising transmitting, by a controller comprising a processor, a request to a server to enable initiation of a virtual private network session on behalf of devices other than the controller. The controller transmits authentication information to enable the server to validate the request, and receives a first list of computing devices. The controller transmits a first selection of a target device from the first list to cause the server to initiate the virtual private network session between the target device and a service node providing services to the target device via the virtual private network session. The controller receives a second list of applications executable on each of the computing devices, and transmits to the server a second selection of an application from the second list that is executable by the target device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Method and system for dynamic selection of communication paths for a moving vehicle
A method for wireless communication between a moving vehicle and remote servers through at least one external mobile network. A router in the moving vehicle is configured for receiving and transmitting wireless data to and from both an aggregation server, using aggregated communication over at least two separate links, and at least one other stationary communication server, using non-aggregated communication over a single link. The router is further accessible by a plurality of client devices onboard the moving vehicle. At least one selection rule is provided in the router for selecting whether to use aggregated or non-aggregated communication, and a determination is made, upon a request from a client device to communicate with one of said remote servers, whether one of the at least one rules applies; and if so selecting to use aggregated communication via the at least one other communication server for communication based on the determination.
Access to a computer network
A method of mediating access to a computer network comprises the steps of identifying a user who wishes to access the computer network, obtaining quality of service data specific to the user, generating a token comprising the quality of service data and providing an output derived from the token to the user. Optionally, the method can further comprise receiving a request from the user for access to the computer network and providing access to the computer network to the user according to the token.
