AUTOMATION SYSTEM, SERIES TERMINAL FOR AUTOMATION SYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A series terminal for an automation system, having an insulating housing, which has an electrical contact on at least one side of the housing with which the series terminal can be connected with a data bus of an automation system. The series terminal comprises an integrated electronic processing unit which is connected to the at least one contact device and is designed for transmitting and/or receiving data via the data bus. In this case, the integrated electronic processing unit is set up to query a configuration of the automation system and, based on the configuration, to generate an individual cryptographic key for the automation system in conjunction with a secret cryptographic key stored in the series terminal.
SCALABLE PROVISIONING OF AGGREGATION DEVICES WITH DIFFERENTIATED FEATURES
It is determined that a first customer premises equipment (CPE) that provides external network access to a first local area network and that is communicatively coupled to a first aggregation device is to be dynamically provisioned with a first differentiated feature that is different from default features identified in a first boot configuration from which the first CPE obtains features during a boot phase of the first CPE. A first aggregation driver process that corresponds to the first aggregation device is identified. A request to implement the first differentiated feature on the first aggregation device is sent to the first aggregation driver process.
A Method, Arrangement and Devices for Enabling a Hybrid Access Gateway Server to Identify an Access Type of Traffic Originating from a Customer-Premises Equipment
A method of, a customer-premises equipment for, and a hybrid access gateway server for, enabling a hybrid access gateway server to identity an access type of traffic originating from a customer-premises equipment, CPE, wherein said hybrid access gateway server is arranged to control access to a service network, and wherein said CPE comprises at least two Wide Area Network, WAN, interfaces.
Generating user interface for onboarding
An example server to process onboarding includes a communication interface unit, a memory to store instructions, and a processor. The processor is to execute instructions stored in the memory to receive information on a user interface screen for onboarding from a client device through the communication interface unit, and transmit information for generating a next user interface screen to be displayed on the client device to the client device through the communication interface unit based on the received information on the current user interface screen and information on a process of the onboarding.
Wireless network session establishment method and apparatus utilizing a virtual local area network label
The present invention is applicable to the field of communications and provides a session establishment method and apparatus. The method includes: acquiring an infrastructure virtual circuit IVC corresponding to a user equipment UE; sending a virtual local area network VLAN label corresponding to the IVC to a customer location function set, so that the customer location function set adds the VLAN label to a packet of the UE, where the VLAN label is configured by an L2 session control functional entity for the IVC; and notifying an L2 forwarding functional entity of the VLAN label, so that the L2 forwarding functional entity forwards, to the IVC, the packet sent by the customer location function set and added with the VLAN label. In the present invention, a case in which the L2 forwarding functional entity needs to store a large MAC table is avoided, and packet forwarding efficiency is improved.
BROADBAND ACCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A Device Abstraction Proxy (DAP) interface receives a request for operational data relating to broadband access line services provided to a plurality of broadband access terminals in a network by two or more providers. The DAP interface receives, in response to the request, the operational data, including operational data for a plurality of DSL lines coupled to the plurality of broadband access terminals. The DAP then identifies at least two of the plurality of broadband access lines as belonging to a common neighborhood of broadband access lines, each of the at least two of the plurality of DSL lines respectively associated with at least two of the plurality of broadband access terminals being provided the broadband access services by different providers. Embodiments correlate a condition and/or a performance of one of the at least two broadband access lines identified as belonging to the common neighborhood with a condition and/or performance of another one of the at least two broadband access lines identified as belonging to the common neighborhood.
Channel Parameter Estimation Method And Related Apparatus
The present disclosure provides example channel parameter estimation methods and related apparatuses. In one example method, a cable modem (CM) obtains a second data frame through a downlink channel between the CM and a cable modem termination system (CMTS). The second data frame is generated after a first data frame sent by the CMTS is modulated through the downlink channel, a zero-bit-loaded symbol of the first data frame includes no valid codeword, but includes a zero-bit-loaded NCP and an idle codeword identified by the zero-bit-loaded NCP, and the idle codeword includes a data sequence used for channel parameter estimation. The CM can estimate a channel parameter of the downlink channel based on a data sequence in an obtained zero-bit-loaded symbol of the second data frame and the data sequence in the zero-bit-loaded symbol of the first data frame.
METHOD AND SYSTEM TO ENABLE A VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK CLIENT
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method comprising transmitting, by a controller comprising a processor, a request to a server to enable initiation of a virtual private network session on behalf of devices other than the controller. The controller transmits authentication information to enable the server to validate the request, and receives a first list of computing devices. The controller transmits a first selection of a target device from the first list to cause the server to initiate the virtual private network session between the target device and a service node providing services to the target device via the virtual private network session. The controller receives a second list of applications executable on each of the computing devices, and transmits to the server a second selection of an application from the second list that is executable by the target device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
NETWORK DEVICE AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF APPLICABLE FOR MESH NETWORKS
A network device including an Ethernet transmission interface and a processing unit is provided. The Ethernet transmission interface is provided with at least one Ethernet transmission port. The processing unit is coupled to the Ethernet transmission interface and is configured to: in order to detect whether a packet looping exists, send out a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) discover message through a linked Ethernet transmission port in response to linking one of the at least one Ethernet transmission port to a network and determine whether a DHCP offer message is received; determine whether to prohibit data transmission of the linked Ethernet transmission port according to whether the DHCP discover message returned through the packet looping is detected; classify the linked Ethernet transmission port as an uplink transmission port or a downlink transmission port according to whether the DHCP offer message is received.
