A method for operating a first network device of a communications network, wherein the method comprises: determining or receiving, by means of an ingress interface, an ingress data stream comprising payload data to be transmitted towards a second network device; determining or receiving, by means of a correlation observer, at least one correlation value for a plurality of communication paths between the first network device and the second network device, wherein each of the plurality of communication paths comprises a different one of a plurality of physical channels; determining, by means of a multi-connectivity controller, a plurality of egress data streams in dependence on the at least one correlation value and in dependence on the ingress data stream; and transmitting, via a respective one of a plurality of egress queues, wherein each egress data stream is associated with a different one of the plurality of paths.

An internal RF signal path couples the pin to an internal terminal for the RF signal, and a register setting signal path couples the pin to an internal register. The internal register may be an address register, such as a USID address register of a MIPI RFFE bus. A capacitor on the RF signal path may block the constant voltage, and a resistor or inductor on the register setting signal path may block the RF signal. The integrated circuit may include an RF section and a controller section, where the controller section may be used to control the RF section. The controller section is responsive to an address associated with the address register.

When a first changeover condition is present, then, deviating from CAN, the data field of the messages can include more than eight bytes, the values of the data length code being interpreted, given the presence of the first changeover condition to determine the size of the data field. For forwarding data between the data field and the application software, at least one buffer memory is provided, and, if the size of the data field differs from the size of the buffer memory used, the forwarded quantity of data is adapted at least corresponding to the difference in size between the data field and the buffer memory.
