SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING DATA GENERATED BY A VEHICLE END-OF-LINE TESTING ROUTINE
A method for processing a vehicle end-of-line (EOL) testing routine includes determining whether a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is issued during the vehicle EOL testing routine and obtaining vehicle network data generated during the vehicle EOL testing routine. The method includes, in response to a determination that the DTC is issued during the vehicle EOL testing routine, storing the vehicle network data in a database, associating the DTC with an electronic control module from a plurality of electronic control modules, identifying a designated agent from among a plurality of agents based on the DTC and a ECM-agent directory, and electronically transmitting a notification to the designated agent, where the notification provides access to the vehicle network data and the DTC.
Systems and methods for in-band pulse-addressable multiplexer
An information handling system may include a bus initiator, a plurality of bus endpoints, and a bus communicatively coupled between the bus initiator and the plurality of bus endpoints, wherein the bus comprises a multiplexer topology of a plurality of multiplexers. The bus initiator may be configured to perform in-band addressing to select a communications channel through the multiplexer topology via an addressing protocol that uses pulse bursts for initiation of the addressing, identification of the communications channel, and termination of the addressing. Pulses of the pulse bursts may be sufficiently short in duration to pass through filters of the bus endpoints such that the pulse bursts are not processed by the endpoints.
SUBSCRIBER STATION FOR A SERIAL BUS SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION IN A SERIAL BUS SYSTEM
A subscriber station for a serial bus system including a communication control device for controlling a communication with another subscriber station and a transceiver device for sending a transmit signal produced by the communication control device as a frame to a bus of the bus system. The bit time of a signal sent to the bus in the first communication phase differs from a bit time of a signal sent in the second communication phase. The communication control device produces the transmit signal, in a first operating mode, for a first frame that is designed according to a specified communication protocol with which other subscriber stations in the bus system communicate, and is designed to produce the transmit signal, in a second operating mode, for a second frame that assigns to at least one bit a different function than is assigned to the bit in the specified communication protocol.
Apparatus and method for prioritization of random access in a multi-user wireless communication system
The present disclosure relates to the prioritization of devices taking part in a multi-user random access wireless communication. Based on some known conditions, devices that comply with the conditions are given preferential treatment during the random access period. The preferential treatment may refer to the eligible devices being allowed to access more resource units during the random access, or it may also mean faster access to the medium during the random access. By taking advantage of the methods described in the present disclosure, it is possible to assign higher priority to selected frame types and/or device categories in a multi-user random access wireless communication system.
GATEWAY DEVICE
The invention realizes a gateway device capable of shortening the time required for routing to a CAN bus of the opposite microcomputer side and reducing the delay of data transfer. If the indexes are the same, a microcomputer 1 and a microcomputer 2 include common routing tables 10 and 20 in which the same contents are defined. The microcomputer 1 sends the index to the microcomputer 2. The microcomputer 2 that has received the index reads the routing rule defined in the common routing table 20 by the received index.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A FIRST NETWORK DEVICE, FIRST NETWORK DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
A method for operating a first network device of a communications network, wherein the method comprises: determining or receiving, by means of an ingress interface, an ingress data stream comprising payload data to be transmitted towards a second network device; determining or receiving, by means of a correlation observer, at least one correlation value for a plurality of communication paths between the first network device and the second network device, wherein each of the plurality of communication paths comprises a different one of a plurality of physical channels; determining, by means of a multi-connectivity controller, a plurality of egress data streams in dependence on the at least one correlation value and in dependence on the ingress data stream; and transmitting, via a respective one of a plurality of egress queues, wherein each egress data stream is associated with a different one of the plurality of paths.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE, ELECTRONIC CONTROL METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An electronic control device is connected to at least one bus of a mobile object, and includes: a controller that controls behavior of the mobile object; an anomaly detector that performs detection to detect an anomaly in communication data which flows through the at least one bus and which includes identification information for identifying control details related to the behavior of the mobile object; and an obtainer that obtains at least one piece of identification information corresponding to a result of the detection.
SERIAL COMMAND PROTOCOL ENCAPSULATING WIRE TRANSFER PROTOCOL
An embodiment provides a method for transferring information utilizing a serial communication command structure over an unreliable or a non-continuous communication channel, including: establishing a serial command structure, wherein the establishing comprises defining a package structure having a predefined format, wherein the serial command structure comprises bounded data; and transmitting, over the unreliable or the non-continuous communication channel, data from a sending entity to a receiving entity utilizing the serial command structure and in the predefined format. Other aspects are described and claimed.
SIGNALING OF TIME FOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN INTEGRATED CIRCUITS USING MULTI-DROP BUS
Embodiments relate to including information in a data packet transmitted by a transmitting integrated circuit (e.g., SOC) to account for a time delay associated with an unsuccessful arbitration attempt to send the data packet over a multi-drop bus. The unsuccessful arbitration attempt by the integrated circuit may delay the transmission of the data packet until the multi-drop bus becomes available for the integrated circuit to send the data packet. The data packet includes a data field to include time delay information caused by the unsuccessful arbitration attempt. A receiving integrated circuit may determine the time that the data packet would have been sent out from the transmitting integrated circuit absent the unsuccessful arbitration attempt based on the delay information. Embodiments also relate to a synchronization generator circuit in an integrated circuit that generates timing signals indicating times at which periodic events occur at another integrated circuit.
Billboard for Context Information Sharing
Embodiments relate to a billboard circuit that stores context information received from various component circuits in an electronic device. The context information indicates an operating status of the corresponding component circuit, system or shared resources. The stored context information may be retrieved by one or more component circuits when events (e.g., turning on of a component circuit) are detected. By using the billboard circuit, a component circuit may detect changes in the operating status of other components circuits and configure or update its operations even when the changes occurred while the component circuit was asleep or disabled. The billboard circuit may monitor updating of the context information by the component circuit and initiate notification to other components circuits when certain entries of the context information is updated.
