A vehicle data system may include an onboard diagnostic port configured to receive a request for a threshold relating to a vehicle parameter, the threshold indicating a limit in a standard operating range of the vehicle parameter, and a processor configured to receive the request for the threshold, receive vehicle data from at least one vehicle component, and apply a filter to the vehicle data to generate a tuned threshold for the requested threshold based on an initial value and the vehicle data.

An I3C master receives a max read length and a max write length from an I3C slave. Then, when transmitting/receiving data to/from the I3C slave, the I3C master controls transmission/reception of the data so that the data to be transferred in one data transfer has a data length equal to or shorter than the max read length and the max write length, and transmits transfer length information indicating the data length of the data to be transferred, prior to data transfer of the data. The present technology is applicable to a bus IF, for example.

Eliminating redundant fibers in a federated large display system
A federated display system includes multiple head down displays (HDD) driven by two or more display processing computers (DPC). Each DPC includes two or more display nodes independently managing display processing, graphics generation, and I/O functionality (either within a single processing unit or a multiprocessor environment). Each display node is linked to a mezzanine control plane (MCP) independent of the display nodes, which MCP includes dedicated optical channels to each member HDD of the system and a switching fabric to control the routing of graphical signals from the graphics generators of each node to the optical channel connected to the desired target HDD. The switching fabric includes a master selector for designating any node of a DPC as a master node capable of controlling the switching fabric via its processing control or graphics generation functions.

Embodiments of a device and method are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method of communications involves determining a time-division multiplex (TDM) communications schedule over an asymmetrical point-to-point link and at a communications device, transmitting or receiving data according to the TDM communications schedule over the asymmetrical point-to-point link. The TDM communications schedule specifies multiple non-overlapping transmission time slots for different communications devices and a silent period for echo fade-out between consecutive transmission time slots of the non-overlapping transmission time slots.

Embodiments of a device and method are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method of communications involves determining a half-duplex communications mode for a communications device, in response to determining the half-duplex communications mode for the communications device, disabling an echo canceller of the communications device and determining a time-division multiplex (TDM) communications schedule over a point-to-point communications link, and in response to disabling the echo canceller and determining the TDM communications schedule over the point-to-point communications link, conducting data transmission over the point-to-point communications link according to the TDM communications schedule without echo cancellation at the communications device. Operating a data distribution including a data distribution module and a plurality of host-bus adapters coupled to the data distribution module can include defining a coherent group that includes a set of members that includes the plurality of host-bus adapters; providing a group-coherent memory area in each of the set of members; and initiating a one-to-all broadcast message from a one of the plurality of host-bus adapters to all of the set of members when the one of the plurality of host-bus adapters requests a write to its local group-coherent memory area. The group-coherent memory area in each of the set of members is physically mirrored with a temporal coherence and no semaphores or access enables are required to achieve the temporal coherence of the coherent group.
