The partial views deliver customized sets of data streams to customers. The selective distribution of sensor information accommodates the divergent interests and needs of parties responsible for tracking the various characteristics of a monitored location.
Internet protocol (IP) network virtualization of serial network endpoints
In one embodiment, a network device connected to an Internet Protocol (IP) network and a serial network scans an infrastructure of the serial network. Based on the scanning, the network device can determine one or more serial endpoints within the serial network infrastructure, and may then allocate an IP address to each of the one or more serial endpoints. The network device may then map received IP network traffic into serial protocol commands on the serial network for a destination serial endpoint having an allocated IP address corresponding to a destination IP address of the received IP network traffic, and may also bridge data present on the serial network from a sourcing serial endpoint into an IP message on the IP network with an indication of a corresponding allocated IP address of the sourcing serial endpoint, accordingly.

Modbus TCP communication behaviour anomaly detection method based on OCSVM dual-outline model
Proposed is an anomaly detection method for communication behaviors in an industrial control system based on an OCSVM algorithm. According to the present invention, a normal behavior profile model and an abnormal behavior profile model, i.e. a dual-outline model, of communication behaviors in an industrial control system are established, parameter optimization is performed by means of a particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, an optimal intrusion detection model is obtained, and abnormal Modbus TCP communication traffic is identified. According to the present invention, the false alarm rate is reduced by means of cooperative discrimination of the dual-outline detection model, the efficiency and reliability of anomaly detection are improved, and the method is more applicable to practical applications.
Wireless control devices and methods
A wireless sensor network at a monitored location can be configured to generate sensor channel(s) of data to assess operational conditions at the monitored location. Inputs based on the sensor channel(s) of data are provided to a host system for analysis of a demand to one or more resources at the monitored location. Response messages can be generated based on the demand analysis and transmitted to actuator(s) at the monitored location to effect an adjustment to the operational conditions.

Method of configuring field devices and field device having a configuration for two bus systems
Systems and methods of the subject invention provide for the communication with field devices in a first fieldbus system working in accordance with a first standard, and in a second fieldbus system working in accordance with a second standard. First and second field devices are arranged in the first fieldbus system and are coupled via a first fieldbus in accordance with the first standard. The first field device is also coupled to the second fieldbus system working in accordance with a second standard. A standardized object in accordance with the first standard is loaded on the first field device. A description of the standardized object is provided in the second fieldbus system. The standardized object is used from the second fieldbus system, the standardized object having no definition of a data type.
