Refrigerated display appliances
A ducted shelf for an open-fronted display unit employing air curtains comprises a duct extending forwardly or rearwardly through the shelf and communicating at a forward end with a discharge or return opening, the duct being wider in the widthwise direction at the forward end than at a rearward end of the duct. Guide walls divide the duct into a group of channels disposed successively side-by-side in the widthwise direction. Each channel has a respective length reflecting a degree of widthwise offset between the rearward end and the forward end of that channel. A longer channel of the group has a greater width in the widthwise direction at its rearward and forward ends than a shorter channel of the group.
FOOD WELL DISPLAY
A flexible merchandising food well display configured for use with a cabinet including a countertop. The food well display includes an upwardly open food well housed within the cabinet and the countertop defines an opening into the food well. The flexible merchandising food well display further includes a height-adjustable shelving system within the food well. The shelving system includes a plurality of shelves, each of which may be individually mounted within the food well at a selectable height such that the shelves may support different containers at different heights within the food well.
Air guide brackets for refrigerators
Open display refrigerators, commonly used in retail environments, typically include air curtains. It can be desirable to attach air curtain guides to the front edge of shelves within the refrigerator using brackets that are capable of being attached to a ticket strip. The bracket can include teeth oriented in opposite directions that are configured to be received by corresponding grooves of the ticket strip. A screw, cam, or other transverse member can be configured to urge the teeth apart and secure the bracket within the grooves of the ticket strip.
PANEL POWERED PRODUCE DISPLAY TABLE
A display table for displaying perishable produce items comprises a base; a produce bed on which the perishable produce items are positioned; and an air flow system for providing air circulation and ventilation at the produce bed. The air flow system comprises a plurality of ducts under the produce bed; an air distribution box that evenly distributes the air through the ducts; and a plurality of fans that circulate the air from the ducts under the produce bed to a region above the produce bed. The display table further comprises a control device that controls a flow of the air via the fans to the produce bed according to a state of the perishable produce items on the produce bed; and a self-contained power panel that that generates power for the fans, the air distribution box, and the control device, wherein the power panel includes a cell power electrical system.
REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINET
Described herein is a refrigerated display cabinet. The cabinet comprises a case comprising shelves disposed between side walls of the case to form a conservation space to store products therewithin, a duct extending from a bottom front side of the cabinet to a top front side of the cabinet via a rear side of the cabinet, and at least one heat exchanger, each comprising one or more headers and a plurality of heat exchange tubes extending between the headers. The heat exchange tubes comprise at least one bend formed along a length of the heat exchange tubes to define at least two sections of the heat exchange tubes. The heat exchanger is disposed within the duct of the cabinet such that the headers remain at one lateral end of the rear side and at least one of the bends of the heat exchange tubes remains opposite to the headers.
REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINET
A refrigerated display cabinet is disclosed. The cabinet comprises a case comprising one or more shelves disposed between side walls of the case to form a conservation space to support and store one or more products therewithin, a duct extending from a bottom front side of the cabinet to a top front side of the cabinet via a rear side of the cabinet, and at least one heat exchanger comprising one or more headers, and a plurality of flat microchannel tubes, wherein the at least one heat exchanger is disposed within the duct on the rear side of the cabinet with the plurality of flat microchannel tubes inclined at a first predefined angle with respect to a horizontal plane such that the headers on both sides of the flat microchannels tubes are at different elevations.
Container cooling shelf
The invention is a container refrigeration case having at least one cooling air duct extending through a wide area of a rear wall unit and top unit, having a bottom region that accommodates a rolling container, and having side wall units. Cooling air is guided to circulate through the cooling air duct, a cooling air curtain traveling from top to bottom on the front side, and across the bottom region. The bottom region has a flat bottom structure situated under the container, an inner cover oriented toward the cooling chamber, and a floor-side duct section embodied under the inner cover which routes the cooling air duct from the front side to the lower, rear section of the cooling air duct.
An Open Refrigerated Display Case and a Flow Stabilizing Device
An open refrigerated display case including: a refrigerated display area having one or more shelves; an air outlet and an air inlet opening into the display area and spaced from one another; a duct fluidically coupling the air inlet to the air outlet, the duct being configured to direct air flow out of the air outlet across the display area and toward the air inlet to form an air curtain across the display area; wherein each of the one or more shelves are provided with an associated flow stabilizing device; wherein the one or more flow stabilizing devices each include a cellular structure which extends transversely across the display area perpendicular to the direction of the air flow within the air curtain, the cellular structure forming a matrix of stabilizing channels; wherein the one or more flow stabilizing devices are each positioned so that the stabilizing channels receive the entire air curtain and stabilize the air flow within the air curtain; wherein an upper surface of the or each flow stabilizing device is arranged so as to be substantially level with or below an upper surface of the associated shelf.
Bracket for use with open display refrigerators
A bracket for attaching an air curtain guide to a refrigerator shelf, the bracket comprising: a first end having a surface for engagement with an edge of a refrigerator shelf; a second end for coupling to an air curtain guide; wherein the first end is connected to the second end by a continuous member, such that the first end is offset from the second end in a first direction.
FOOD PAN COOLING SYSTEM WITH AN UPPER OPEN FOOD HOLDING AREA AND A LOWER FOOD COMPARTMENT WITH QUICK CHILL FUNCTION
A refrigerated food preparation table includes a housing defining both (i) an upper food preparation holding area with food pan receiving locations and (ii) a food compartment. A cooling system includes a cooling air flow path with a first region for delivering cooling air at least one of below or alongside food pans in the upper food preparation holding area and a second region, downstream of the first region, for delivering at least a portion of the cooling air into the food compartment after the portion of the cooling air has passed below or alongside food pans in the upper food preparation holding area. The cooling air flow path includes a third region, upstream of the first region, and an openable/closeable path portion into the food compartment from the third region for selective delivery of at least some cooling air from the third region into the food compartment.
