REFRIGERATED FOOD SERVICE COUNTER
A refrigerated food service counter includes a case having sidewalls that define an interior space. A refrigeration unit is in thermal communication with the sidewalls of the case. A bracket is disposed within the interior space, and a food service pan is supported by the bracket. A cooling bar is movably attached to the bracket. The cooling bar is positioned proximate the food service pan and in thermal communication with a select sidewall of the case. The refrigeration unit draws heat from the sidewalls. The select sidewall in turn draws heat from the cooling bar, and the cooling bar in turn draws heat from the food service pan.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPLAY CASE TURNDOWN
A controller for a refrigerated display case includes processing circuitry configured to receive operational data from multiple refrigerated display cases and an ambient temperature reading from an ambient temperature sensor. The processing circuitry is configured to determine a limp level for a rack that includes the multiple refrigerated display cases based on the operational data and the ambient temperature reading. The processing circuitry is configured to determine an operational cooling parameter for each of the multiple refrigerated display cases based on the limp level. The operational cooling parameter indicates an amount of cooling or a corresponding cooling operation for each refrigerated display case. The processing circuitry is configured to operate each of the multiple refrigerated display cases using the operational cooling parameter.
PORTABLE FREEZER MODULE
Disclosed is a portable freezer module (30) for displaying and dispensing frozen edible products. The module comprises a case (32) and a duct (36). The case (32) comprises an insulated container having an interior space (33) for containing the frozen products, and an active cooling system for cooling the interior space and having a hot end (31) and a cold end (35). The duct (36) extends from the hot end (31) of the active cooling system of the case to a heat exhaust outlet (38). The module (30) is configured such that the case (32) can be removably sited in a presentation space (24) of a chill cabinet (20) with the heat exhaust (38) of the duct (36) positioned outside of the presentation space (24). The duct (36) is a hollow tube free from refrigerant conduits, electrical cables and other electrical equipment.

REFRIGERATED DISPLAY CABINET UTILIZING A RADIAL CROSS FLOW FAN
A refrigerated display case includes a housing surrounding multiple shelves. An air distribution gap is defined behind the shelves. An air return passage is defined below the shelves. A radial cross-flow fan is disposed in a fan region of the air return passage. The radial cross-flow fan includes an output connected to the air distribution gap. A primary cooling microchannel heat exchanger is disposed in the fan region downstream of the radial cross-flow fan such that air output from the radial cross-flow fan to the air distribution gap passes through the primary cooling microchannel heat exchanger. A pre-cooler microchannel heat exchanger is disposed upstream of the primary cooling microchannel heat exchanger.
Modular refrigeration systems
The present application provides a refrigerated merchandising case. The refrigerated merchandising case may include a refrigerated product area, a rear panel with a roller channel and a number of support apertures, and a number of shelves with a roller and a number of attachment prongs. The shelves may maneuver along the rear panel via the roller within roller channel and attach via the attachment prongs and the support apertures.
Pan chiller system with liquid coolant
A pan chiller system includes a pan chiller unit having a food well, with a plurality of hollow divider rails arranged within the food well to define at least one opening to receive one or more food pans to be cooled, where the plurality of divider rails define a first rail flow path and a second rail flow path. A chilled liquid coolant system chills liquid coolant and moves the chilled liquid coolant into both the first rail flow path and the second rail flow path. A control arrangement is configured for controlling chilled liquid coolant flow such that a first temperature condition maintained in the first rail flow path is different than a second temperature condition maintained in the second rail flow path.
