The training frame typically includes first information identifying a group of one or more apparatuses and second information indicating whether each of the apparatuses in the group is to determine at least one characteristic of a channel. For other aspects, a method of wireless communications generally includes receiving a request at an apparatus and transmitting, in response to the received request, a packet using frame aggregation, wherein two or more frames are transmitted in a single transmission using a single header.

A method is provided for computing a channel quality indicator (CQI) value by a user equipment in a wireless communication system. The method includes configuring, through a higher layer, channel measurement resources defined by channel status information-reference signal (CSI-RS) resource element configuration with non-zero transmission power and subframe configuration, configuring, through the higher layer, interference measurement resources defined by the CSI-RS resource element configuration with zero transmission power and the subframe configuration, and computing the CQI value based on a channel measurement and an interference measurement. The channel measurement is performed by using the channel measurement resources, and the interference measurement is performed by using the interference measurement resources. If two or more channel status information (CSI) subframe sets are configured, the interference measurement for one CSI subframe set of the two or more CSI subframe sets is performed by using the interference measurement resources.
Channel-state information determination in wireless networks
A method for channel-state information determination in a wireless network comprises determining an initial channel-state information for a wireless channel based on a search of a plurality of sets of precoding codebook elements stored in a multiple input multiple output user equipment (UE) and determining a subsequent channel-state information based on the initial channel-state information.
DOWNLINK OPERATIONS WITH SHORTENED TRANSMISSION TIME INTERVALS

The described aspects include receiving a transmission having a first subframe slot and a second subframe slot, at least one of the first subframe slot and the second subframe slot have a single-slot transmission time interval (TTI). The described aspects further include detecting a first demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) in the first subframe slot and a second DM-RS in the second subframe slot. The described aspects further include determining whether to demodulate the at least one downlink channel in the first subframe slot using the first DM-RS in the first subframe slot or to demodulate both the first DM-RS in the first subframe slot and the second DM-RS in the second subframe slot based on whether at least one condition exists.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONFIGURING NGV FRAME FOR WIDEBAND TRANSMISSION IN WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM
A method and device for transmitting an NGV frame in a wireless LAN system is proposed. Specifically, a transmission device generates an NGV frame and transmits the NGV frame through a first band. The NGV frame includes an L-STF, an L-LTF, an L-SIG, an NGV-SIG, an NGV-STF, an NGV-LTF, and NGV-Data. The L-STF, the L-LTF, the L-SIG, and the NGV-SIG are duplicated in units of second bands and transmitted through the first band. The NGV-STF, the NGV-LTF, and the NGV-Data are transmitted through a full band of the first band. The first band is a 20 MHz band, and a second band is a 10 MHz band.

Methods and systems are described for determining a Demodulation Reference Sequence (DMRS) for an intercell interfering signal received from a mobile device in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) communication system. In one aspect, an interfering signal transmitted from a mobile device being served by a second cell of an LTE communication system is received at a receiver serving a first cell in the LTE communication system. At least one transmit parameter is detected from the received interfering signal. A DMRS for the received interfering signal is determined based on the detected transmit parameter.
