Methods and apparatus for transmission of data at different modulation and/or coding rates
In a method implemented in a communication device configured to transmit PHY data units via a communication channel, first data and second data is received. The first data is modulated according to a first constellation having a first number of constellation points, and the second data is modulated according to a second constellation having a second number of constellation points higher than the first number of constellation points. The first data and the second data is parsed to a plurality of spatial streams such that a first subset of the spatial streams includes at least some of the modulated first data but none of the modulated second data, and a second subset of the spatial streams includes at least some of the modulated second data but none of the modulated first data. A single PHY data unit that includes the plurality of spatial streams is generated.
Method and apparatus for processing bit-interleaved data traffic in a communication network
A manner of processing bit-interleaved data traffic in a communication network. In the increasingly-common scenario where data traffic is bit interleaved and scrambled using a PRBS (pseudo-random binary sequence) before it is transmitted from a sender to a receiver, the receiver is configured to receive the transmitted bit stream and decimate it, that is, remove the bits of the bit stream that are allocated for the receiver, prior to descrambling. To accomplish this, the receiver employs an LFSR (linear feedback shift register) similar or identical to the one used by the sender to scramble the data. The LFSR is initialized by employing helper bits inserted by the sender or an initialization unit, and may employ other techniques for phase adjustment or state skipping depending on the nature of the transmitted bit stream.
Method and device for monitoring downlink control channel
A method for monitoring a control channel in a wireless communication system and a wireless device using the same are provided. The wireless device monitors a downlink control channel in at least one physical resource block (PRB) pair of a subframe that is assigned for an enhanced physical downlink control channel (EPDCCH) set. A beatstream for downlink control information of the downlink control channel is scrambled by a scrambling sequence that is initialized on the basis of a scrambling initialization value allocated to the EPDCCH set.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NR SIDELINK SS/PBCH BLOCK
A method of a first UE comprises: determining a sidelink synchronization identity (SL-SID) and a set of resources; generating at least one sidelink synchronization signal and physical broadcast channel (S-SSB) based on the SL-SID and the set of resources, wherein each S-SSB of the at least one S-SSB includes first two symbols for a sidelink primary synchronization signal (S-PSS) and second two symbols for a sidelink secondary synchronization signal (S-SSS); generating a first sequence corresponding to the S-PSS, wherein the first sequence is determined based on a binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulated M-sequence with a 127 of sequence length and a low cross-correlation with a PSS; generating a second sequence corresponding to the S-SSS, wherein the second sequence is determined based on a BPSK modulated Gold-sequence with a 127 of sequence length; and transmitting, the at least one S-SSB over sidelink channels established with the second UE.
PAPR and inter-cell interference reduction
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may apply one or more spreading sequences to a set of modulation symbols of a data set to generate spread modulation symbols; apply a scrambling sequence to the spread modulation symbols to generate a set of scrambled symbols; and transmit a waveform based at least in part on the set of scrambled symbols. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Partial pseudo-randomization processing method, and corresponding apparatus and device, and storage medium

The method includes performing pseudo-randomization processing on part of N bits b.sub.1, b.sub.2, . . . , b.sub.N to generate new N bits d.sub.1, d.sub.2, . . . , d.sub.N; and encoding the d.sub.1, d.sub.2, . . . , d.sub.N.
SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL OPTIMIZATIONS FOR SYMBOL INDEX DETECTION
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Some examples provide for identifying a primary synchronization signal (PSS) sequence of a synchronization subframe, determining, for the synchronization subframe, an extended synchronization signal (ESS) sequence based at least in part on the PSS sequence and transmitting the synchronization subframe. Other examples provide for generating an ESS sequence for a synchronization subframe to be communicated to a UE, scrambling the ESS sequence based at least in part on cell-specific information associated with the base station and transmitting, to the UE, the scrambled ESS sequence in the synchronization subframe.
METHOD FOR PHYSICAL LAYER SECURED MESSAGE SCRAMBLING
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may communicate, with a second wireless device, a first set of messages of a first message type that are acknowledged according to an acknowledgement procedure. The first wireless device, the second wireless device, or both may select a first subset of messages of the first plurality of messages and a first subset of bits from each message of the first subset of messages based on the first set of messages being acknowledged and according to a sampling configuration common to both the first wireless device and the second wireless device. The first wireless device, the second wireless device, or both may generate a key using bit values of the first subset of bits from each message of the first subset of messages, encoding a message using the key, and communicate the encoded message.
Serial transmission having a low level EMI
A method for transmitting data in series includes producing a scrambled signal by applying a scrambling using a pseudo-random sequence to an incoming serial signal conveying the data and producing an outgoing serial signal. The scrambled signal is monitored to detect occurrences of one or more data patterns. In response to the detection of one or more occurrences, one or more actions are taken to protect data in the output signal.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BROADCAST CHANNEL CONFIGURATION AND BROADCAST CHANNEL TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION FOR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
