METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECEIVING PPDU THROUGH BROADBAND IN WIRELESS LAN SYSTEM
20220407754 · 2022-12-22 · ·

A method and a device for receiving a PPDU in a wireless LAN system are presented. Particularly, a reception STA receives a PPDU from a transmission STA through a broadband and decodes the PPDU. The broadband is the 320 MHz band or 160+160 MHz band. The PPDU includes an STF signal. The STF signal is generated on the basis of a first STF sequence for the broadband. The first STF sequence is the sequence in which phase rotation is applied to the sequence in which a second STF sequence is repeated. The second STF sequence is the STF sequence for the 160 MHz band defined in the 802.11ax wireless LAN system. The first sequence is the sequence in which a preset M sequence is repeated, and is defined as {M 1 −M 0 −M 1 −M 0 −M −1 M 0 −M 1 −M 0 −M −1 M 0 M −1 M 0 M 1 −M 0 M −1 M}*(1+j)/sqrt(2).

METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING PREAMBLE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

One embodiment according to the present specification relates to a method for constructing a preamble in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. According to various embodiments, a PPDU may comprise a first signal field and a second signal field. The first signal field may include first information about PHY version. The first information may be determined on the basis of whether the PPDU is an EHT PPDU. The second signal field may include second information about the transmission of the PPDU, which is set on the basis of the first information.

A method for transmitting a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) and a device using the same are provided. The device receives a trigger frame for requesting a transmission of a high efficiency (HE) trigger-based (TB) PPDU and transmits the HE TB PPDU. A duration of the HE TB PPDU is calculated based on a duration of the trigger frame.

MODULATED PREAMBLE FOR LOW POWER OPERATIONS

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a preamble configuration. The UE may receive a preamble in a time domain. The preamble may include a set of modulated bits during a first portion of an initial symbol duration of a slot. The set of modulated bits may include one or more of a first subset of network temporary identifier bits or a second subset of modulation and coding scheme (MCS) bits. The UE may process the preamble during a second portion of the initial symbol duration of the slot based on the preamble configuration.

Methods for vehicular communication in accordance with co-existence between next generation vehicle-to-everything (NGV) devices and legacy devices

Embodiments of a Next Generation Vehicle-to-Everything (NGV) station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The NGV STA may encode a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) for transmission in a dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) frequency band allocated for vehicular communication by NGV STAs and legacy STAs. In some cases, the NGV STA may encode the PPDU in accordance with an NGV enhanced physical (PHY) layer protocol, and includes usage of a mid-amble, space-time block coding (STBC), or low-density parity check (LDPC) coding. In other cases, the NGV STA may encode the PPDU in accordance with a legacy PHY layer protocol that is compatible with the legacy STAs, and excludes usage of the mid-amble, the STBC, and the LDCP coding.

Mixed numerology OFDM design

Methods, systems, and devices are described for hierarchical communications and low latency support within a wireless communications system. An eNB and/or a UE may be configured to operate within the wireless communications system which is at least partially defined through a first layer with first layer transmissions having a first subframe type and a second layer with second layer transmissions having a second subframe type. The first subframe type may have a first round trip time (RTT) between transmission and acknowledgment of receipt of the transmission, and the second layer may have a second RTT that is less than the first RTT. Subframes of the first subframe type may be multiplexed with subframes of the second subframe type, such as through time division multiplexing. In some examples symbols of different duration may be multiplexed such that they different symbol durations coexist.
