Techniques for configuring preamble and overhead signals for transmissions in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band

Techniques are described for wireless communication. A first method includes transmitting a first signal to indicate accessing a first channel in a radio frequency spectrum band, and transmitting information with the first signal in the radio frequency spectrum band. A second method includes winning contention to access a radio frequency spectrum band, and after the winning contention to access the radio frequency spectrum band, transmitting a first signal to align a starting point of a second signal with a reference boundary associated with the radio frequency spectrum band. A third method includes winning contention to access a radio frequency spectrum band during a first frame period, the first frame selected from a plurality of different frame periods, and transmitting a signal at a periodicity during one or more subframes of the first frame period for each of the plurality of different frame periods.

Multi-bit payload transmission with orthogonal sequences

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit an uplink payload in a wireless communications system. The UE may identify a set of sequences configured for conveying a payload including a set of bits, where each sequence of the set of sequences is orthogonal to each other sequence of the set of sequences. The UE may select a first sequence from the set of sequences based on a mapping between the set of sequences and payload values corresponding to the set of bits. The UE may transmit the payload including the set of bits using the first sequence.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may identify a reference signal sequence (e.g., a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence) based on a cyclic shift associated with a control channel for communications with a second wireless device. For example, the first wireless device may identify the cyclic shift associated with transmitting a message to the second wireless device via the control channel. In another example, the first wireless device may estimate the cyclic shift associated with receiving a message from the second wireless device via the control channel. The first wireless device may then communicate with the second wireless device based on the reference signal sequence. For example, the first wireless device may transmit or receive (e.g., via a shared channel) the reference signal sequence to or from the second wireless device.

A communication device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires information regarding signal processing of predetermined data transmission; and a switching unit that switches a transmission means of a reference signal related to the predetermined data transmission on the basis of the information regarding the signal processing of the predetermined data transmission.

TRANSMISSION DEVICE HAVING PROCESSING CIRCUITRY TO DETERMINE TO ARRANGE A OFDM SYMBOL INCLUDING A REFERENCE SIGNAL

When arranging a reference signal generated by a pseudorandom number on specified time and frequency, an information processing unit (101) determines whether or not to arrange a 1 OFDM symbol or 2 OFDM symbols including a reference signal at a position determined in each slot, and determines whether or not to additionally arrange an OFDM symbol including a reference signal in the same slot. A multiplexing unit (108) performs multiplexing of a reference signal in accordance with the determination by the information processing unit (101).

Embodiments of this application provide a method for receiving and sending a reference signal, an apparatus, and a system, so that a network device can correctly demodulate uplink data of different terminal devices of a same cell. This solution is applicable to a wireless communications system including a first cell. The first cell includes a plurality of terminal devices that can transmit uplink data on a same time-frequency resource. A first terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices determines an index of a first sequence based on a first parameter value, and generates a first reference signal based on the first sequence indicated by the index of the first sequence. Then, the first terminal device sends the first reference signal to the network device. The first parameter value is different from a parameter value corresponding to another terminal device in the plurality of terminal devices.

Embodiments of this application disclose a user pairing method and a related device. The method includes: first, determining a first generation parameter of a first base sequence of a first user and a second generation parameter of a second base sequence of a second user, and the second base sequence is used to generate a second uplink reference signal of the second user; then, determining multiplexing evaluation information based on the first generation parameter and the second generation parameter, where the multiplexing evaluation information may include correlation strength between sequences and interference leakage width; afterwards, determining, based on the multiplexing evaluation information, whether the first user and the second user are successfully paired. Finally, when the first user and the second user are successfully paired, it is determined that the first user and the second user multiplex a same communication resource for communication.
