The bracket can mount to multiple boxes, shelves, and structures, and does not require tools for installation to the railing or fence.
Plant Pot Holder
A plant pot hanger has three or more cables, each of which cables have a first end and a second end, and wherein the three or more cables are secured together at the first ends of the respective cables. A sliding loop is formed at the second end of each respective cable. Each cable is threaded through the sliding loop of a respective adjacent cable to form a ring adaptable for running under a rim of a plant pot and supporting the plant pot. A loop or a hook for hanging the plant pot preferably extends from the respective first ends of the three or more cables.
Systems, Methods and Apparatus for Planter Frame
A frame to hold a first planter in a second planter is disclosed. The frame can include a pair of U-shaped members coupled to one another, in which each respective U-shaped member includes a first and second vertical member projecting upward from opposing ends of a cross-member to a first and second hanger, respectively, and each respective hanger is configured to be removably coupled to a rim of the second planter. The pair of U-shaped members can be coupled to one another at a center position of the respective cross-members, forming an interior volume configured to receive the first planter. The frame can include a removable ring configured to extend circumferentially around the frame and contact the first and second vertical member of each respective U-shaped member.
Support Bracket for Fence Post or Rail
A bracket for releasable attachment to a fence comprises a clamp portion, for engaging a fence component, and a support arm portion for supporting one or more types of objects. The objects may comprise hanging plants, bird feeders, lamps or lighting, etc. In one aspect, the clamp portion is adapted to engage a fence post. In another aspect, the clamp portion is adapted to engage a fence rail or a rail cap.
PLANT SUPPORT CAGE ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH TROLLEY CONVEYOR
A plant support cage assembly useful for growing plants in an upright configuration is provided for use with a trolley conveyor. A plurality of vertical support elements of selected length are provided spaced apart circumferentially about a vertical axis. Vertical support elements have an upper end and a lower end. At least some vertical support elements include an inwardly sloping lower portion. A plant container receiving portion is formed in part by the inwardly sloping lower portions vertical support elements, and by one or more plant container retaining hoops which are sized and shaped for receiving and containing therein a plant container of complementary size and shape. Coupling bars are provided affixed to and crossing under the plant container receiving portion, and extending outward therefrom for use in containment of plant stems. A plurality of hoop elements are provided, horizontally oriented and spaced apart vertically, and each affixed to at least some of the vertical support elements. One or more connector portions are provided above and affixed to the upper end of the vertical support elements. The connector portions are adapted for attachment of the plant support cage assembly to a trolley conveyor in a plant factory.
EFFECTIVE AND BENEFICIAL VESSELS AND METHOD FOR GROWING PLANTS TO MANIPULATE ROOT GROWTH
The invention provides flexible or rigid vessels in different configurations with openings at their ends and a hollow body between them for growing plants. The hollow body is filled with a growing medium to manipulate the routing of the plants roots. Such vessels allow growth of plants in a limited space without compromising the ability of the plants to grow roots of natural length; enabling resource savings by reducing amounts of the growing medium and nutrients and their dispersion to the surrounding, evaporation and water infiltration. These advantages result in a reduction of weight of the growing medium for growing roots. These vessels also protect the plant roots from pests and weeds and allow the plants to grow even in unsuitable terrain, such as rocky, salty or contaminated soil. Also, the vessels can be used to grow plants for ornamental purposes in a beautiful and aesthetic way.
PORTABLE AND ELEVATED PLANTER BOX AND METHODS OF USE
An elevated planter apparatus positioned above ground, includes a planter box with sides and a bottom, a plurality of aperture connectors connected to said bottom, each of said plurality of aperture connectors provides passageway therethrough, a plurality of tube connectors having a closed end, each of said plurality of tube connectors connected to one of said plurality of aperture connectors, a plurality of rods having a first rod end and a second rod end, said first rod end positioned in the ground and said second rod end inserted in one of said plurality of aperture connectors and one of said plurality of tube connectors, and thus that can be easily incorporated into existing landscaping without damaging, modifying, or changing the existing landscaping.
HANGING PLANT GROWING APPARATUS
A hanging plant growing apparatus is provided for growing a plant in a hanging container. The hanging plant growing apparatus comprises a frame, suspension lines, a hanging element, and a liner nested within the frame. The suspension lines have a first end and second end. The second end secures to the frame and the suspension lines extend upwardly from the frame. The first end secures to the hanging element. The liner has a plurality of pores throughout and sufficient rigidity to maintain its shape when filled with a growing medium.
Furniture
A piece of furniture having a body with a hollow interior that includes inserts to allow the inclusion of a planting arrangement within the hollow interior is disclosed. In some embodiments, the piece of furniture includes a bottom insert within the hollow interior to protect the body from water. A template insert having openings that each accommodate a flower pot is also included within the hollow interior. The piece of furniture may be a table or a hanging shelf.
FIBER BASKET WITH WATER RETAINING LINER
A system and associated method include coconut fiber liners used in hanging wire flower baskets. The coco fiber basket liner may create a water seal in the liner by over-coating a portion of the inner liner with a unique blend of all-natural rubber latex, then molding the liners into shape. The added latex coating may seal in and hold water in the bottom portion of the liner. This feature may keep the soil moist while still allowing air to flow thru the plants. The moisture and airflow may help promote healthier plants and roots and require less watering. Excess water beyond the intended amount may drain out thru the permeable side walls of the coco liner.
