Peak-to-Average Ratio Reduction Method, Apparatus, Device, and System
A peak-to-average ratio reduction method, including dividing subcarriers of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol that carries to-be-transmitted data to obtain multiple blocks, determining multiple phase factors corresponding to the multiple blocks, where the multiple phase factors reduce a peak-to-average ratio of the OFDM symbol, transmitting the multiple phase factors using a particular subcarrier of the OFDM symbol, multiplying data transmitted on each block in the multiple blocks by a corresponding phase factor, and transmitting data obtained by means of multiplication. Phase factor information of each block is transmitted using the particular subcarrier such that application of a partial transmit sequence (PTS) method in a WI-FI system becomes possible, thereby effectively reducing a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of data.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING DEMODULATION REFERENCE SIGNAL FOR UPLINK DATA IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND DEVICE FOR SAME
The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting a demodulation reference signal. Specifically, the method performed by the terminal comprising: receiving, from a base station, a radio resource control (RRC) signaling including control information representing that transform precoding for an uplink is enabled; generating a low peak to average power ratio (PAPR) sequence based on a length-6 sequence; generating a sequence used for the demodulation reference signal based on the low PAPR sequence; and transmitting, to the base station, the demodulation reference signal based on the sequence used for the demodulation reference signal, wherein the length-6 sequence has an 8-Phase Shift Keying (PSK) symbol as each element of the sequence.
Method for transmitting HE-LTF sequence and apparatus
Embodiments of the present invention provide several long training sequences that are in a wireless local area network and that comply with 802.11 ax.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR REDUCTION OF CUBIC METRIC IN A CONCATENATED BLOCK REFERENCE SIGNAL DESIGN
Method and devices determine parameters governing a concatenated reference signal design based on Zadoff-Chu sequences and having a limited correlation with other reference signals arriving at a same transmission point, wherein the concatenated reference signal has a controlled cubic metric. The cubic metric control is achieved by selecting base sequence root indices, phase shifts and/or block configurations in view of information related to the other reference signals.
System and Method for SRS Switching, Transmission, and Enhancements
User Equipments (UEs) may be assigned a set of aggregated component carriers for downlink carrier aggregation and/or carrier selection. Some UEs may be incapable of transmitting uplink signals over all component carriers in their assigned set of aggregated component carriers. In such scenarios, a UE may need to perform SRS switching in order to transmit SRS symbols over all of the component carriers. Embodiments of this disclosure provide various techniques for facilitating SRS switching. For example, a radio resource control (RRC) message may be used to signal a periodic SRS configuration parameter. As another example, a downlink control indication (DCI) message may be used to signal an aperiodic SRS configuration parameter. Many other examples are also provided.
Techniques for performing rate matching around resource elements used for tone reservation
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may determine to apply tone reservation to a downlink transmission from the base station to a user equipment (UE), and may select to rate match data of the downlink transmission around selected resource elements for the tone reservation instead of puncturing the data of the downlink transmission. The base station may transmit, to the UE, a message indicating that tone reservation is applied to the downlink transmission via rate matching, and transmit the downlink transmission including the data rate matched around the selected resource elements used for tone reservation. The UE may identify the selected resource elements used for tone reservation based on an estimation of a channel between the UE and the base station, and decode the data of the downlink transmission via rate matching around the selected resource elements used for tone reservation.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING DATA USING A PLURALITY OF CARRIERS
An apparatus for receiving signals includes a receiver for receiving a time domain signal from a transmitter, wherein at least one first information bit is mapped, resulting in at least one first mapped symbol; at least one second information bit is mapped, resulting in at least one second mapped symbol; the at least one second mapped symbol is multiplied by at least one third information bit; and the time domain signal is generated from the at least one first mapped symbol and the at least one second mapped symbol.
METHOD FOR GENERATING LOW PAPR SEQUENCE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR SAME
The present specification, provides a method for generating a low peak to average power ratio (PAPR) sequence in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present specification relates to a method for generating a low PAPR sequence in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: generating a sequence of length-6 having a symbol as each element of the sequence; and generating the low PAPR sequence on the basis of the sequence of length-6.
Communication apparatus and communication method
A communication apparatus includes a receiver and a decoder. The receiver includes a plurality of antenna elements and, in operation, receives from a base station apparatus a modulated signal mapped to one of a plurality of subframes defined in a frame corresponding to a communicable range to which the communication apparatus belongs. The plurality of subframes are defined by time-division, frequency-division, or time-and-frequency division of the frame. A maximum number of modulated signals that can be simultaneously transmitted in a subframe from the base station apparatus varies depending on the communicable range. The decoder, in operation, decodes the received modulated signal.
PUCCH Resource Allocation and Peak to Average Power Ratio Reduction in eLAA
A method of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource allocation to increase multiplexing capacity in enhanced licensed assisted access (eLAA) is proposed. New design of Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) is proposed. Across frequency domain of the channel bandwidth, multiple resource block repetitions are allocated for different UEs for uplink PUCCH transmission to satisfy the occupied channel bandwidth requirement for unlicensed carrier access. In addition, the resource elements of a single PUCCH resource block are partially spread into different repetitions to increase multiplexing capacity and to resource peak to average power ratio (PAPR).
