An OFDM transmitter and an OFDM receiver respectively transmit and receive N (N≥2, N is an integer) control symbols. For each control symbol, a guard interval time-domain signal is, for example, identical to a signal obtained by frequency-shifting at least a portion of a useful symbol time-domain signal by an amount different from any other symbol, or to a signal obtained by frequency-shifting one or both of a portion and a span of a useful symbol interval time-domain signal different from any other symbol by a predetermined amount.
LOW-COMPUTATION UNDERWATER ACOUSTIC WAKE-UP METHOD BASED ON MULTI-CARRIER SIGNALS
A low-computation underwater acoustic wake-up method based on a multi-carrier signal is provided. A multi-carrier signal corresponding to communication nodes is constructed, absolute values of the multi-carrier signal in a window at a receiver are summed for signal arrival detection, and then frequency points of the multi-carrier signal are detected many times by using the real fast Fourier transform to realize wake-up detection. The method is suitable for accurate wake-up at any distance within a maximum communication distance of two underwater acoustic nodes, has a small amount of calculation, and is suitable for low-power single-chip microcomputers. The modem can be in a low-power sleep state for a long time.
Wideband Transceiver
A wideband transceiver for a gateway is presented. The wideband transceiver may interface with the gateway’s processors over an interface that carries data encapsulated in baseband frames. The wideband transceiver may comprise a modulator and a high power amplifier and may improve a transmitted signal quality and may utilize a wideband for wireless communications, for example, for a satellite communication system.
Architecture and orchestrator of a communications subsystem for a space based satellite
A satellite system uses cloud computing virtualized gateways, radio transport protocol and on-ground beamforming to improve wireless communication. A digitized ground based subsystem for use with the satellite system can be employed in transmitting an optical feeder uplink beam to a communications platform that includes a multiple element antenna array. The ground based subsystem is configured to receive the optical feeder uplink beam and, in dependence thereon, use the multiple element antenna feed array to produce and transmit a plurality of RF service downlink beams to a single or plurality of service terminals.

The method includes providing a block of memory having a n×k addresses, wherein the block comprises a single table, receiving a digital radio broadcast signal at the receiver, and demodulating the digital radio broadcast signal into a plurality of interleaved data units. For at least one series of n×k data units a pointer step size is determined, and for each data unit in the series, an address in the block is calculated based on the pointer step size, and an output data unit is read from the block at the address, such that said output data units represent block deinterleaved data units. An input data unit from the plurality of interleaved data units is then written to the block at the address. Associated systems and computer readable storage media are presented.
