The invention relates to a container (1) made of glass or stoneware for a beverage having surface irregularities in a chosen region, the irregularities forming nucleation sites inside the container, the nucleation sites favouring the formation of bubbles in contact with a carbonated beverage, comprising a layer of enamel (10) coating the chosen region, a plurality of enamel grains (12) arranged on the surface of said layer of enamel (10) and attached to said layer of enamel (10), and a hydrophobic compound (13) arranged on a portion of the surface of said enamel grains (12).

Beverage feeder and beverage feeder assembly

The present invention relates to a beverage feeder and, particularly, to a beverage feeder in which a sealing member is disposed at a part lower than a discharge part of a nozzle, and the sealing member is disposed at the lower part of a beverage container so as to easily fit or separate the beverage container to/from the nozzle and, simultaneously, enable effective sealing.

Carbonated beverage nucleation accessory

I disclose a method for increasing a quantity of gas bubbles in a head of foam of a beverage in drink ware, comprising providing and sinking a portable nucleation accessory into the beverage. The nucleation accessory features a plurality of nucleation sites etched into a smooth outer surface of the accessory. Each nucleation site comprises a pit which pulls and aggregates gases out of solution until the gases forms a bubble. When the bubble becomes sufficiently buoyant, it detaches from the nucleation site and rises to an upper surface of the beverage. A plurality of nucleation sites producing bubbles in this way build a head of foam on the upper surface of the beverage. Nucleation sites may be arranged to appear as lines or areas to a naked eye.

CONTAINER WITH LAMINAR FLOW
20190261793 · 2019-08-29 ·

A container such as a beverage container is characterized by a device arranged within the container to impart a laminar flow to a fluid being poured or dispensed within the container. The laminar flow device is arranged in either the central portion of the container or in a side wall of the container. In a preferred embodiment, the flow device includes a plurality of flutes which slow the flow of the beverage into the container. In addition, the container bottom wall is preferably concave to provide a smooth transition for the flow of beverage from the laminar device to the container bottom and up the interior of the container during filling. The laminar device reduces the formation of foam within the fluid during filling of the container. A flow director is also provided for connecting a fluid dispenser with the laminar flow device.

DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR REMOVAL OF SOLUBLE GASES FROM FLUID SAMPLES

Devices, systems and methods are disclosed which relate to using containers with a multitude of nucleation sites covering a major portion of the inside wall of the container to enable rapid and nearly complete removal of soluble gases from fluid samples, including carbonated beverages and other carbonated fluid samples. A fluid sample is rapidly poured into the described container initiating a catastrophic release of the soluble gas from the sample.

Beverage container

A beverage container or package that includes an internal surface for promoting nitrogen bubble nucleation and growth. The surface incorporates a plurality of nanoscale structures, e.g. between 6 and 100 nanometers in size. Most preferably the structures are pits, greater than 15 nm in depth/height. Upon opening the container filled with a Nitrogen (and carbon dioxide) supersaturated beverage, a foaming effect occurs which provides a desirable head of fine bubbles when transferred to a drinking glass.

Container with effervescent action

Carbonated beverage container (1), particularly a glass, comprising a sealed wall made of at least one structural material defining an internal surface intended to receive the beverage, said internal surface comprising an area provided with a discontinuous hydrophobic coating (7) comprising a polymerized siloxane, a plurality of recesses (8) being provided in the hydrophobic coating (7), said recesses (8) not passing through the sealed wall.

Flavor and Aroma Enhancing Aeration Drinking Vessel
20260033651 · 2026-02-05 ·

A drinkware vessel for aerating and mixing beverages comprises an interior surface defining a cavity and a plurality of divergent ridges protruding from the interior surface. The divergent ridges include two pairs of bi-directional wave ramps disposed on opposing sides of the cavity. Swirling the beverage causes the divergent ridges to direct flow, induce mixing, and generate micro-bubbles by increasing liquid surface area. The vessel further comprises an upper portion with a rim and a headspace defining a diffusion chamber for capturing aroma molecules. The rim is shaped to direct beverage flow to a targeted palate area. The divergent ridges may have curved edges, taper in width, and facilitate a specific flow pattern. The vessel enhances aeration and mixing compared to vessels without divergent ridges.
