Wireless drink container for monitoring hydration
A wireless drink container can monitor a person's hydration and prompt him or her to drink more if appropriate. The drink containers as described herein can monitor liquid levels and communicate with external devices about the liquid levels and rate of consumption. One or more sensors in the drink container monitor the liquid level within the container. A processor coupled to the sensor(s) estimates how much liquid has been removed from the container from changes in the liquid level and transmits a signal representing the change in liquid level to a smartphone or other external device. It also triggers an audio or visual indicator, such as an LED, that prompts the user to drink more based on the user's estimated liquid consumption and on the user's liquid consumption goals, which may be based on the user's physiology, activity level, and location.
DRINKING DRAMATIZATION GLASS, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND REMOTE TOAST COUNTER SYSTEM
An object of the present invention is to provide a drinking dramatization glass that shows images on the side face of the glass by changing their aspect ratios, as well as a remote toast counter system.
The drinking dramatization glass 1 comprises: a glass body 10 being a bottomed cylinder body with a top opening 11, having, on its side face, a flat part 20 made of a transparent material and a curved part 30 made of a transparent material; a fixing mechanism 40 for fixing, on the flat part 20, an image display device 80 with its image display surface 81 oriented in the direction of the flat part 20; and an image aspect ratio control part 200; which is characterized in that: the curved part 30 has, over its surface on the side contacted by a drink L filled in the glass body 10, a curved surface 31 that curves along the curved part 30; the curved surface 31 has a radius of curvature R that, when an image 82 shown on the image display surface 81 is viewed from the outer side of the glass body 10 through the drink L and the curved part 30, allows a virtual image 83 to be seen as an enlarged version of the image 82; and the radius of curvature in vertical direction RV, and the radius of curvature in horizontal direction RH, of the curved surface 31, are different.
Liquid Consumption Monitoring Device
A liquid consumption monitoring device for monitoring and encouraging consumption of a liquid includes a cup and a lid, which is selectively engageable to the cup to close a top thereof. The user is positioned to tilt the cup to dispense a liquid from the cup, through an opening positioned in the lid, into a mouth of the user. A flow meter engaged to the cup, proximate to the opening, measures a volume of the liquid passing through the opening. An interface is engaged to at least one of the cup and the lid and is operationally engaged to the flow meter. The interface receives a signal from the flow meter when the liquid passes through the opening. The interface selectively actuates at least one of a speaker and a bulb, upon receipt of the signal from the flow meter, to provide a sensory reward to the user.
Petcup
Petcup is a new product that works as a thermo beverage cup and turned up-side down works as a portable lamp/worklight. As a hot or cold beverage cup the light can be turned on before you set it on the table giving Petcup a one-of-a-kind look. When not being used as a beverage cup, it's a portable lamp/worklight that's light-weight and can go anywhere. You can twist the top and bottom off to wash or just twist the bottom off to change the batteries. Petcup is the only cup/lamp in the world and the only cup with a dual-use as a portable lamp.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING AN INDICATION OF A PERSON'S GUM HEALTH
An optical analysis of saliva or a fluid-saliva mix obtained during or after an oral care action is performed in order to check whether the saliva or fluid-saliva mix contains blood, which allows for determining whether or not a person may suffer from gingivitis or another condition affecting gum health. In particular, light received from a representative sample (23) containing saliva is detected and analyzed. The analysis involves determination of measurement values of light received by a light-receiving unit (25) for one or more main wavelengths of the light and one or more auxiliary wavelengths of the light. Advantageously, the main wavelength(s) is/are associated with high hemoglobin absorption and the auxiliary wavelength(s) is/are associated with low hemoglobin absorption. A measurement value at an auxiliary wavelength is used for correcting a measurement value at as main wavelength for background influences.
Container with laminar flow
A container such as a beverage container is characterized by a device arranged within the container to impart a laminar flow to a fluid being poured or dispensed within the container. The laminar flow device is arranged in either the central portion of the container or in a side wall of the container. In a preferred embodiment, the flow device includes a plurality of flutes which slow the flow of the beverage into the container. In addition, the container bottom wall is preferably concave to provide a smooth transition for the flow of beverage from the laminar device to the container bottom and up the interior of the container during filling. The laminar device reduces the formation of foam within the fluid during filling of the container. A flow director is also provided for connecting a fluid dispenser with the laminar flow device.
WO2019086909 - A DRINKS CONTAINER WITH MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS
A drinks container (1) comprises a main body (2) comprising an enclosing wall that spans between an upper and a lower end, the upper end open to receive fluids therethrough; a base portion (3) configured to close the lower end of the main body (2); a rim portion (6) that extends from the upper end, configured to connect with secondary accessories and; a cap (15), configured to removably connect with the main body (2) to close the open upper end.
WATERPROOF LID WITH BLUETOOTH SPEAKER INTEGRATION
A beverage container lid can include an audio speaker; a wireless transceiver to transmit and receive wireless signals; and a hardware processor to process wireless signals received by the wireless transceiver and to output audible signals through the audio speaker. The beverage container lid can also include a water-tight housing, the wireless transceiver and hardware processor contained within the water-tight housing; a drinking aperture; and a fluid channel, the fluid channel to allow fluid to pass through the drinking aperture, and the water-tight housing to prevent fluid passing through the fluid channel from contacting the wireless transceiver and hardware processor.
BEVERAGE PLUG WITH INTEGRAL CANDLE HOLDER
A beverage plug for insertion into a drinking opening of a container lid includes an elongated stick having a first end and an opposite second end with an integral plug portion being formed between the first end and the second end and being configured for plugging the drinking opening. A candle holder is integrally formed at the first end and comprises a cup-shaped structure for receiving and holding a candle.
