SMART COFFEE CUP AND OTHER DISHWARE
Dishware having a body configured to hold a heated liquid; a temperature sensor integrated into the body, the temperature sensor positioned and configured to detect a temperature of the heated liquid; and an alarm configured to alert a user when the temperature is within a threshold range. The temperature sensor, via a transmitter, may communicate with a mobile device to alert the user to the temperature of the liquid contents. A software application (“App”) provides a user interface relative to the communications between the temperature sensor and the mobile device. The dishware may be of a conventional type or disposable in nature (e.g., Starbucks cup).
Portable system for dispensing controlled quantities of additives into a beverage
A portable, self-contained beverage apparatus includes a container assembly having a known storage capacity for storing a consumable liquid, and a dispensing assembly disposed within the container assembly that dispenses variable, non-zero quantities of additives into the consumable liquid. The dispensing assembly includes multiple apertures structured and arranged to retain vessels containing the additives to be dispensed into the consumable liquid. The beverage apparatus also includes a level sensor disposed within the container assembly that determines a consumable liquid level of the consumable liquid stored in the container assembly. In certain embodiments, one or more positive displacement pumping mechanisms are configured to pump additive liquid from additive containers into a beverage chamber. Other features relate to audio engagement processing. Other features relate to situational processing. Other features relate to group engagement processing.
Smart device bottle cap
A drinkware contains a drinking bottle cap and a container. The drinking bottle cap that contains a support structure configured to support and host one or more smart devices is disclosed. The drinking bottle cap creates a secured stand for smart phones and smart tablets, such that the smart devices coupled with the drinking bottle cap are immobilized by and supported by the supporting structure of the cap. The drinkware can contain electronic components and used as a media content player similar to a music or video player.
Drink lid arrangements and methods
An apparatus can include a generally planar portion approximately in a plane. The apparatus can also include a lip portion extending in a direction generally orthogonal to the plane. The generally planar portion is joined to the lip portion at a circumferential edge of the generally planar portion to form a cover for a beverage container. Likewise, a method can include providing contact information on a disposable cover adapted to cover a beverage container. The contact information is not necessarily provided by the manufacturer of the beverage or beverage container. The method can also include receiving contact from a user of the disposable cover. The method can further include coordinating the delivery of a service to the user of the disposable cover responsive to the contact received from the user.
FOODWARE SYSTEM HAVING VISUAL-STIMULATING AND SENSING COMPONENTS
An active foodware system senses food characteristics, such as weight, calories, and other nutrition. Dining dishes are removably mated with dish holders supported by a mechanical structure having visual stimulating, sensing, and wireless communication components. A visual stimulating component emits light from a dining dish. The mechanical structure protects the components and circuitry from liquid. The system may include a camera. Other components may provide data processing, auditory and haptic stimuli, wireless power, temperature sensing, and heating of food. Data related to the food is displayed on a visual stimulating component of a computer or mobile communication device, such as a mobile phone or tablet computer. The data may also be sent to the internet. Computer software displays nutrition information on the visual stimulating component, which may be displayed before, during, and/or after dining. Computer software may also provide visual and auditory encouragement for children to eat.
Luminescent Drinking Cup
The Jermaine’s light up cup is the only product of its kind that gives the illusion of a lava lamp, through a clear drinking cup, as the user quenches thirst. This unprecedented product is uniquely designed with an advanced multi-color lighting technology and durable materials to ensure long term sustainability.
Liquid consumption monitoring device
A liquid consumption monitoring device for monitoring and encouraging consumption of a liquid includes a cup and a lid, which is selectively engageable to the cup to close a top thereof. The user is positioned to tilt the cup to dispense a liquid from the cup, through an opening positioned in the lid, into a mouth of the user. A flow meter engaged to the cup, proximate to the opening, measures a volume of the liquid passing through the opening. An interface is engaged to at least one of the cup and the lid and is operationally engaged to the flow meter. The interface receives a signal from the flow meter when the liquid passes through the opening. The interface selectively actuates at least one of a speaker and a bulb, upon receipt of the signal from the flow meter, to provide a sensory reward to the user.
CUP
There is disclosed a cup comprising a cup body comprising an opening and provided to contain a beverage; and a handle part provided in an outer surface of the cup body and configured to be holdable by a user, wherein the handle part forms a preset angle with respect to an outer surface of the cup body so that the cup body supported by handle part is spaced from a table surface or floor when the handle part in contact with the table surface or floor, and wherein the length or width at which the handle part is formed is provided in a size such that when the handle part contacts with the table surface or floor, an imaginary normal extending from the table surface or floor to the center of gravity of the cup body to pass through the handle part.
SOUND-GENERABLE LID, SOUND-GENERABLE BOTTLE AND METHOD
The present application discloses a sound-generable lid for a bottle. The sound-generable lid comprises a lid and a sound generator. The lid comprises a lid hole. The sound generator is passed through the lid hole and is capable of generating sound when air volume inside the bottle is changed. The sound generator comprises a tube, a cap and a sound maker. The cap comprises at least one cap hole and is coupled to the tube. The sound maker is disposed within the tube. The sound maker comprises atoning wedge, a reed, an o-ring and a fixer. The toning wedge is vibrated toward the toning wedge. The toning wedge is curved. The o-ring bundles the toning wedge and the reed. The fixer fixes the o-ring inside the tube.
