METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING SECURE CONVERSATION GATEWAY
Systems and methods for providing a secure conversation gateway by which an audio voice stream is made to be replicable and convertible into other media types are provided. The method includes receiving an audio voice data stream; converting the received audio voice data stream into a predetermined media format; and transmitting the converted audio data stream to a user. The method may also include receiving an interaction event that corresponds to the audio data stream; generating metadata based on the interaction event; and applying a machine learning algorithm to the audio data stream and the metadata in order to generate a response that relates to the audio data stream. The method may also include replicating the audio data stream and distributing copies thereof to a set of recipients.
Method for monitoring a data stream associated with a process within a shared network
A method for controlling a flow of data associated with a process and routed in a shared data path, including a plurality of flows, of a communication network. The method is implemented in a device of the path and includes: receiving, from a supervision entity, information identifying the flow to be controlled; configuring at least one flow control parameter, the parameter relating to the process corresponding to the received information; and executing an operation of controlling the data flow on the basis of at least one configured parameter.
System and method for enabling call originations using SMS and hotline capabilities
A method for handling call originations is provided. The method includes sending origination information from a mobile device to an application server in an enterprise network using Short Message Service (SMS) and determining whether a hotline feature is present in a subscriber profile associated with the mobile device. Data is then routed from the mobile device to a predetermined destination based on the hotline feature.
Gateway action framework
Disclosed are various examples of an action framework for configuring a gateway to perform actions on the gateway itself or in conjunction with connected IoT devices. In some examples, a command is transmitted from a management service to a gateway device to permit a gateway client application to execute on the gateway device. A command to register an action in association with the gateway client application is also transmitted. The management service then commands the gateway device to perform the action, and receives an action results message with information about the action.
EDGE COMPUTING NETWORK, DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides an edge computing network, a data transmission method and apparatus, a device and a storage medium. The edge computing network includes: a first edge node configured to receive streaming media data sent by a first client, store the streaming media data onto a first storage resource, and store information of the first storage resource onto a second storage resource, both the first storage resource and the second storage resource being located in the edge computing network; and a second edge node configured to receive a request sent by a second client, acquire the information of the first storage resource from the second storage resource, acquire the streaming media data from the first storage resource based on the information of the first storage resource, and send the streaming media data to the second client.
Switching Between Transmitting a Preauthored Video Frame and a Composited Video Frame
A method includes transmitting a first preauthored video frame of a plurality of preauthored video frames to a client device. The first preauthored video frame is associated with a preauthored media object. The method includes providing a request for a composited video frame to an interactive source device. The request includes a temporal characteristic associated with the first preauthored video frame. The method includes, in response to providing the request, obtaining, from the interactive source device, the composited video frame including customizable video content and preauthored video content. The preauthored video content is associated with a portion of the preauthored media object based on the temporal characteristic. The method includes, in response to detecting that the first preauthored video frame and the composited video frame together satisfy a switching condition, transmitting the composited video frame to the client device after transmitting the first preauthored video frame to the client device.
VIDEO TRANSMISSION METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A video transmission method includes: A first media gateway receives an uplink media packet sent by a first terminal, where the uplink media packet carries information indicating that the first terminal supports an uplink-downlink resolution asymmetry capability and an uplink media stream of a first resolution of the first terminal. The first media gateway sends a first downlink media packet to the first terminal, where the first downlink media packet carries a downlink media stream of a second resolution of the first terminal, and the first resolution is different from the second resolution. The solution is applicable to the following case: In a video call process, a terminal that supports different resolutions in a sending direction and a receiving direction can lower a resolution based on channel quality to deliver a video packet, and can raise a resolution when network resources are sufficient.
Integrated core network of 5G and ATSC 3.0, control plane entity and method for transmitting multimedia content in control plane entity
Disclosed herein is an integrated core network of 5G and ATSC 3.0. The integrated core network of 5G and ATSC 3.0 includes multiple control plane entities and a user plane entity, and further includes an ATSC 3.0 gateway, thereby enabling multimedia content transmitted from the ATSC 3.0 gateway to the user plane entity under the control of the control entity to be delivered to user equipment over an ATSC 3.0 terrestrial network. The ATSC 3.0 gateway may include an ATSC 3.0 Control Plane Gateway (CP-GW) connected between the user plane entity and the multiple control plane entities and an ATSC 3.0 User Plane Gateway (UP-GW) connected to the user plane entity.
System and method for initiating telecommunications sessions through an electronic mail address
A system and method of establishing and controlling a telecommunications or multimedia communications sessions over a conventional call signaling protocol is employed to enable such a communications session to the initiated and managed between participants through translated resource identifiers. The method of establishing and controlling a telecommunications or multimedia communications sessions over a conventional call signaling protocol is employed in one embodiment through the provision of a database which includes resource records linked together by user which include an email address and corresponding URIs, the retrieval of a corresponding URI upon the generation of a session invitation which identifies its target recipient by email address, the transmitting of the session invitation to the retrieved URI, and notifying the target recipient by sending a message to the email address used to generate the session invitation.
Network node, entity and methods performed therein for handling a communication session in a communication network
A method performed by a network node for handling a communication session in a communication network using a session description protocol, SDP, for communication sessions is provided. The network node sends, on one or both established communication sessions, a request with an indication. The indication indicates a request of one or more mappings of a payload type number to a codec associated to the communication session. The network node receives a response including one or more response indications. A response indication indicates one or more mappings of a payload type number to a codec associated to the communication session. The network node further sends a request indication indicating a mapping of a payload type number to a codec suggested to use in an offer message generated by the at least one entity. The mapping is selected based on the one or more response indications in the received response.
