A gateway device that connects a PSTN network to an IP network includes a signal conversion unit that extracts information necessary for ISUP service provision from information included in a received ISUP signal, and generates an SIP signal in which the information is set in the header, a determination unit that determines whether to relay the header for a connection destination device on the basis of a type of a connection destination device and terminal conditions of an outgoing terminal and an incoming terminal that are set in the ISUP signal, and a relay unit that relays the SIP signal to a connection destination device in a case of relaying the header, and transmits an SIP signal from which the header has been deleted to a connection destination device in a case of not relaying the header.

Various implementations described herein are directed to technologies for providing over the top streaming for one or more clients of a network. A network is formed among the network among customer premises equipment. The customer premises equipment may include at least a gateway and the one or more clients. A user selection for over the top (OTT) content is received. The OTT content is received and includes one or more cue points. The gateway is marked as a proxy server in response to receiving the one or more cue points. Proxy data is received from the gateway corresponding to the one or more cue points.

Methods, systems, and computer readable media described herein can be operable to facilitate an IGMP fastleave using a listener reference count. A gateway proxy saves each listener for every specific multicast group, thus the gateway knows if a listener is the last one in the group when it receives a leave report from a listener. The gateway leaves the group immediately without sending specific query if the leave report comes from the last listener of the current group, thereby significantly reducing the leave latency. Otherwise, the standard procedure wins, and the gateway sends out a specific query when the leave report is not from the last listener.

A method for handling call originations is provided. The method includes sending origination information from a mobile device to an application server in an enterprise network using Short Message Service (SMS) and determining whether a hotline feature is present in a subscriber profile associated with the mobile device. Data is then routed from the mobile device to a predetermined destination based on the hotline feature.

One example method includes receiving, at a client, a plurality of real time performance measures associated with a currently-active video conference executing in a video conference application, determining, at the client, based on one or more of the plurality of real time performance measures or a user input, the presence of a fault associated with the currently-active video conference, determining, at the client, a plurality of potential causes of the fault based at least in part on the plurality of real time performance measures, providing, at the client, a notification of the presence of the fault to the user; and generating, at the client, a suggested action to alleviate the fault in real time, the suggested action based at least in part on the plurality of potential causes of the fault.

A command callback function is registered in association the gateway client. An action message is received. The action message specifies an action corresponding to the command callback function. The gateway client using the action message. A command object for the gateway client is generated based on the action message. The command callback function is invoked, and the gateway client processes the command object to perform the action.

A method performed by a network node for handling a communication session in a communication network using a session description protocol, SDP, for communication sessions is provided. A response indication indicates one or more mappings of a payload type number to a codec associated to the communication session. The network node further sends a request indication indicating a mapping of a payload type number to a codec suggested to use in an offer message generated by the at least one entity. A mobile switching center (MSC) server can decode a single radio voice call continuity (SRVCC) packet switch (PS) to circuit switched (CS) request message received from a mobility management entity (MME) that includes selected CODEC information for a selected CODEC used for a user equipment (UE) in an internet protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) over long term evolution (LTE) system. The MSC server can encode the selected CODEC information for transmission to a target MSC to enable the target MSC to identify the selected CODEC for the UE to allow the selected CODEC to be used in the CS domain.
