System and method for using a distributed ledger gateway
System and method for using a distributed ledger gateway are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for interacting with a plurality of distributed ledgers may include: (1) receiving a client request comprising a payload to be written to one of a plurality of distributed ledgers and metadata extracted from the client request; (2) identifying a destination distributed ledger of the plurality of distributed ledgers; (3) logging a source of the request and the destination distributed ledger; (4) encrypting the payload; and (5) routing the encrypted payload to the destination distributed ledger.
Data stream management
A method for managing data streams for similar content on multiple client devices includes receiving a new request for content from a server provider. In response to determining there is an existing request associated with an existing data stream for the content from the server provider, the method includes blocking the new request. The method also includes receiving the existing data stream from the service provider for the content via an external network and performing a stream computation for the existing data stream to provide a first data stream for the existing request for the content and a second data stream for the new request for the content. The method also includes sending the first data stream for the existing request for the content to a first client device and the second data stream for the new request for the content to a second client device, via a local network.
Network-assisted consensus protocol
The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to a network-assisted Raft consensus protocol, referred to herein as “NetRaft.” According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a system can include a plurality of servers operating in a server cluster, and a plurality of P4 switches corresponding to the plurality of servers. Each server of the plurality of servers can include a back-end that executes a complete Raft algorithm to perform leader election, log replication, and log commitment of a Raft consensus algorithm. Each P4 switch of the plurality of P4 switches can include a front-end that executes a partial Raft algorithm to perform the log replication and the log commitment of the Raft consensus algorithm. The back-end can maintain a complete state for responding to requests that cannot be fulfilled by the front-end. The requests can include read requests and/or write requests.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus includes: a processor configured to: perform control such that a first display region in which a file that is not distributed to a person in charge is displayed and a second display region in which a file that is distributed to each person in charge is displayed are displayed on an identical screen; perform control such that a status of each person in charge is displayed in the second display region; and distribute the file displayed in the first display region to the person in charge according to an operation of moving the file displayed in the first display region to the second display region.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus including: a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor being configured to: in a network coupling a plurality of storage nodes, at least one proxy, and at least one client; collect information of accesses executed most by the at least one client via the at least one proxy on a path of each access; based on the information of accesses, calculate network distances between the plurality of storage nodes and the at least one proxy; and based on the network distances, determine a leader to be one of the plurality of storage nodes that is close to one of the at least one proxy accessed most frequently.
System and method for verifying and providing compensation for participation in real-time streaming of multimedia over a decentralized network
The present invention relates to systems and methods suitable for verifying and compensating nodes for streaming multimedia. In particular, the present invention relates to systems and methods that utilize a blockchain to verify and compensate devices for computational resources contributions when streaming multimedia over a decentralized network.
Network neighborhoods for establishing communication relationships between communication interfaces in an administrative domain
A method and apparatus form and/or define a network topology in a Layer 3 network with a plurality of nodes, where each node has at least one interface. To that end, the method defines a plurality of neighborhoods, and assigns at least one interface of each node to at least one of the neighborhoods. The method also assigns a communication role to each interface so that each communication role is effective relative to one of the plurality of neighborhoods. The method then enables communication between the interfaces of the plurality of nodes as a function of the neighborhoods and the communication roles.

Unified, browser-based enterprise collaboration platform
A system for enterprise collaboration is associated with an overlay network, such as a content delivery network (CDN). The overlay network comprises machines capable of ingress, forwarding and broadcasting traffic, together with a mapping infrastructure. The system comprises a front-end application, a back-end application, and set of one or more APIs through which the front-end application interacts with the back-end application. The front-end application is a web or mobile application component that provides one or more collaboration functions. The back-end application comprises a signaling component that maintains state information about each participant in a collaboration, a connectivity component that manages connections routed through the overlay network, and a multiplexing component that manages a multi-peer collaboration session to enable an end user peer to access other peers' media streams through the overlay network rather than directly from another peer. Peers preferably communicate with the platform using WebRTC. A collaboration manager component enables users to configure, manage and control their collaboration sessions.
