The technology described herein documents and verifies interactions in a cloud computing environment. The system creates a first partition within the cloud computing environment for a first entity and a second partition within the cloud computing environment for a second entity. A blockchain ledger can be created for a set of interactions between the first entity and the second entity, where the blockchain ledger is disengaged when the first entity and the second entity are not interacting. The system can receive a request from the first entity for an interaction with the second entity and can activate the blockchain ledger. In response to receiving consensus from a blockchain community within the cloud computing environment, the system can allow the interaction, where the interaction is appended to the blockchain ledger.

A peer container filesystem is provided. The peer container filesystem allows peer nodes to share containers. The peer container filesystem allows the images or portions thereof to be shared without a container registry. A node send requests to the network that are configured to push or distribute an image in the network, search for an image in the network, download an image in the network, and perform updates amongst the peer nodes such that the locations of images and/or their files are known to at least some of the peers in the network.

A computer-implemented system and related method address malfunctioning peers in a blockchain, the method comprising receiving endorsement results from peers in the blockchain, where the endorsement results are for one or more transactions in the blockchain. The endorsement results include successful and failed endorsements. The method further comprises distributing the successful and failed endorsements to two or more endorsement collectors, determining which peers are successful endorsement peers (SEPs) that provided successful endorsements, and which peers are failed endorsement peers (FEPs) that provided failed endorsements. A reputation score is calculated for each peer based on endorsement information from the endorsement collectors. The reputation score is then sent to at least one of a client and a system administrator. This reputation score is then used to determine peer selection in a subsequent transaction.

A method for optimized server picking in a virtual private network (VPN) environment, the method receiving, from a user device, a preference of the user device with respect to a VPN server for establishing a VPN connection; receiving user device information associated with the user device; determining, based at least in part on the preference and the user device information, a subset of a plurality of VPN servers; and determining, from the subset of a plurality of VPN servers, a VPN server as an optimal VPN server for establishing the VPN connection. An apparatus comprises at least one processing device configured to control delivery of input-output (IO) operations from a host device to a storage system over selected paths through a network. The at least one processing device is further configured to determine link availability information for each of a plurality of initiator-target pairs, with the initiators being implemented on the host device and the targets being implemented on the storage system, and each initiator-target pair being associated with a corresponding subset of the plurality of paths. The at least one processing device is still further configured to communicate the link availability information to the storage system, which comprises a distributed storage system that includes a plurality of interconnected storage nodes. The link availability information is utilized in the storage system to rebalance IO operation processing load across at least a subset of the storage nodes of the storage system.

An apparatus comprises at least one processing device configured to control delivery of input-output (IO) operations from a host device to a storage system over selected paths through a network. The at least one processing device is further configured to determine link availability information for each of a plurality of initiator-target pairs, with the initiators being implemented on the host device and the targets being implemented on the storage system, and each initiator-target pair being associated with a corresponding subset of the plurality of paths. The at least one processing device is still further configured to communicate the link availability information to the storage system, which comprises a distributed storage system that includes a plurality of interconnected storage nodes. The link availability information is utilized in the storage system to rebalance IO operation processing load across at least a subset of the storage nodes of the storage system.

Systems and systems and methods for managing neighbor awareness networking (NAN) technologies for intelligent connectivity are described. In an embodiment, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the processor, cause the IHS to: determine that an intelligent connectivity rule is satisfied by context information collected by the IHS, and, in response to the determination, change the discovery state of a NAN-Aware engine.

The present invention is configured to receive, from a computing device of a P2P platform, an indication that a user has initiated a P2P resource transfer request to a first entity; retrieve, from a computing device of the P2P platform, resource transfer information of the first entity based on at least the P2P resource transfer request; initiate a database query on a P2P knowledge repository using the resource transfer information of the first entity; determine a match between the resource transfer information of the first entity and at least one entity record in the P2P knowledge repository based on at least initiating the database query; and transmit a notification to the computing device of the P2P platform indicating that the first entity is known to be associated with misappropriate activity.
