Preemptive caching of content in a content-centric network
Preemptive caching within content/name/information centric networking environment is contemplated. The preemptively caching may be performed within content/name/information centric networking environments of the type having a branching structure or other architecture sufficient to facilitate routing data, content, etc. such that one or more nodes other than a node soliciting a content object also receive the content object.

Method and system for managing recent data in a mobile device linked to an on-demand service
Systems and methods for managing recent data items in a database. A method typically includes determining whether a data object managed by an on demand service is designated as able to be accessed by a user at a mobile device and storing locally at a mobile device a plurality of most recently used items viewed for a data object designated as able to be accessed by a user at a mobile device. The method also typically includes determining a single most recently used set from among the stored plurality of most recently used items viewed for at least one data object designated as able to be accessed by a user at a mobile device.

Prefetcher in multi-tiered memory systems
Generally discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for prefetcher in a multi-tiered memory (DSM) system. A node can include a network interface controller (NIC) comprising system address decoder (SAD) circuitry configured to determine a node identification of a node to which a memory request from a processor is homed, and prefetcher circuitry communicatively coupled to the SAD circuitry, the prefetcher circuitry to determine, based on an address in the memory request, one or more addresses from which to prefetch data, the one or more addresses corresponding to respective entries in a memory of a node on a different network than the NIC.

Preloaded content selection graph validation
The described technology is generally directed towards validating content selection graphs for use in an in-memory content selection graph data store. When a content selection graph data is generated, the graph nodes can correspond to prebuilt response data. The response data for any of the nodes can be verified against rules based on the type of a node, for example, as well as based on client-specific information for types of clients. The overall validation process can validate the content selection graph for subsequent use, can result in errors or warnings being logged (which may or may not render the graph unusable, e.g., depending on severity), or can fail the content selection graph. If validated, the content selection graph can be used to rapidly return response data when content from the graph is requested.
Low-power cached ambient computing
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for performing a prefetch processing to prepare an ambient computing device to operate in a low-power state without waking a memory device. One of the methods includes performing, by an ambient computing device, a prefetch process that populates a cache with prefetched instructions and data required for the ambient computing device to process inputs to the system while in the low-power state, and entering the low-power state, and processing, by the ambient computing device in the low-power state, inputs to the system using the prefetched instructions and data stored in the cache.
Location and behavior based prefetch and caching of remote data
A method for prefetching and caching data onto a device is disclosed. An association of a user with a travel to a destination location is determined. Data network availability in at least a portion of a likely future travel path from a current location of the user to the destination location is analyzed. Based on the analysis of the data network availability, a segment of the likely future travel path where data network is likely unreliable is identified. Data likely desired by the user when the user travels in the identified segment is predicted. A device of the user is caused to obtain and cache the predicted data.
