The at least one processor can display a first execution screen of a first application in a first area of the flexible display, display a second execution screen of a second application in a second area sharing at least one edge with the first area, obtain a pre-defined event associated with the second application, in response to the pre-defined event, change the second execution screen displayed in the second area to a low power mode while maintaining the first execution screen in the first area, and while the second execution screen is in the low power mode, output some selected content in the second execution screen of the second application in consideration of at least one of a type or the properties of the second application.

Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. The mobile terminal includes a master device and a slave device detachably mounted on the master device. The master device includes a housing, a bracket, a master controller and a switch assembly. The housing is provided with a groove to receive the bracket. The bracket can be rotated into or out of the groove relative to the housing. The switch assembly is arranged on the housing and directly faces the groove. When the bracket is rotated out of the groove relative to the housing and the rotation angle thereof meets a first angle, the switch assembly generates a first signal and sends it to the master controller. The master controller controls, according to the first signal, at least one component of the master device to be switched to a first usage state.

The processor detects that the foldable housing is unfolded to a first angle from a fully folded state, displays a first GUI associated with a first application on at least a partial area of the display, detects that the foldable housing is unfolded to a second angle greater than the first angle, displays a second GUI associated with a second application, and executes the second application when the foldable housing is folded back into the fully folded state.

A foldable terminal apparatus, a terminal control method, a terminal apparatus, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are provided. The foldable terminal apparatus comprises a terminal body and a bendable touch screen. The bendable touch screen in a bending direction has a fixed end connected to the terminal body and a free end, and the bendable touch screen is switched between a first state and a second state. In the first state, the bendable touch screen surrounds the terminal body on an outer side of the terminal body, and in the second state, the fixed end of the bendable touch screen is located on the terminal body and the free end is located outside the terminal body, such that the bendable touch screen is expanded.

A mobile terminal and a control method therefor are disclosed. The mobile terminal includes a body, a display coupled to the body to vary a display region viewed from a front of the body according to switching between an enlarged display mode and a reduced display mode, an input unit configured to sense user input, and a controller. The controller outputs a navigation bar on the display in the enlarged display mode, the navigation bar including at least one indicator, and controls a first application among at least one application which is being output in the enlarged display mode according to an input signal of selecting the indicator.
FLEXIBLE BEAMFORMING TECHNIQUES FOR WIRELESS DEVICES
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device such as a user equipment (UE) may include multiple antenna arrays used to support wireless communications. The antenna arrays may be located at different parts of the UE and may allow the UE to flexibly perform beamforming communications. The antenna arrays maybe configured as antenna sets, and the size of each antenna set may vary based on the configuration of the UE. For example, a UE may include a foldable display having multiple foldable display units, and the communication parameters used for transmission and reception of signals via the antenna arrays may depend on the configuration of the foldable display units. In some aspects, a state of the foldable display units or the arrangement of the antenna arrays relative to one another may be used to configure and perform beamforming communications between the UE and a base station.

According to an embodiment, a processor of an electronic device identifies a plurality of subjects associated with the content, based on a request to display content within an active area of the display. The processor obtains a sequence of the plurality of subjects based on the plurality of subjects from the content. The processor displays a plurality of visual objects corresponding to each of the plurality of subjects based on the sequence and display the content according to a first magnification. The processor displays, among a first portion of the content corresponding to at least one subject selected based on the sequence among the plurality of subjects, or a second portion of the content different from the first portion, the first portion in the active area, based on a size of the active area controlled by the actuator by adjusting a magnification of the content to a second magnification.
