Both display portions are viewable when the mobile device is in an expanded configuration. The graphics processor may be coupled to each display portion and configured to generate a first image for display on: the first display portion when the mobile device is in the retracted configuration; at least one of the display portions while the mobile device is in the expanded configuration; and at least one of the display portions while the mobile device transitions between the retracted configuration and the expanded configuration. The second display portion may be a flexible display material, such as an OLED display and with the first display portion may be a single sheet OLED display.
Foldable electronic device including hidden damper
A foldable electronic device including a foldable housing including: a hinge structure; a first housing structure connected to the hinge structure; and a second housing structure connected to the hinge structure and being foldable with the first housing structure about the hinge structure. The foldable electronic device further including a flexible display disposed to be viewable from outside of the device; a locker & closer configured such that the foldable housing maintains an unfolding status or a folding status; a first damper member disposed in the interior of the first housing structure and including a magnetic substance; and a second damper member disposed in the interior of the second housing structure and including a magnetic substance such that a repulsive force is applied when being adjacent to the first damper member. In addition, electronic devices according to various embodiments can be provided.
MULTI-FOLDABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A foldable electronic device is provided. The foldable electronic device includes a first housing, a second housing, a third housing, a first folding unit configured to allow the first and second housings to be folded in a first folding manner, a second folding unit configured to allow the second and third housings to be folded in a second folding manner, a flexible display disposed across the first to third housings, and a metal plate disposed to face the flexible display to support the folding operation of the flexible display, and including a first folding area in which a first pattern is disposed and a second folding area in which a second pattern different from the first pattern is disposed.
Electronic device
An electronic device has a structure in which two portions between which a bent portion of a display panel is positioned are each fixed to a housing. The electronic device takes two forms of a form in which the display panel is opened and a form in which the display panel is folded in three. The electronic device includes a mechanism for sliding two housings parallel to each other. The display panel is changed in shape so that a portion where a display surface of the display panel is convexly curved and a portion where the display surface of the display panel is concavely curved in the folded state move in directions parallel and opposite to each other. At this time, the two portions of the display panel which are supported by the housings are slid while their display surfaces maintain a state parallel to each other.
FOLDABLE DISPLAY DEVICE
Problem
A first chassis and a second chassis are pivotably coupled with a simple structure in a foldable display device.
Solution means
A mobile terminal (1) includes a first chassis (3) and a second chassis (5). A pivot coupling portion (9) couples the first chassis (3) and the second chassis (5) to allow an open state and a closed state. The first chassis (3) and the second chassis (5) are open to enter a planar state in the open state. The first chassis (3) and the second chassis (5) are closed to enter a state of being bent inward in the closed state. A flexible display (7) is arranged to cover main surfaces of the first chassis (3) and the second chassis (5). A support member (11) is arranged between the first chassis (3) and the second chassis (5). The support member (11) has a flat support surface (13a) that supports the flexible display (7) when the flexible display (7) is in the open state. The display (7) includes adhesive portions (7a, 7b) and a non-adhesive portion (7c). The adhesive portions (7a, 7b) are adhered to the first chassis (3) and the second chassis (5). The non-adhesive portion (7c) is separable from the flat support surface (13a) of the support member (11) between the first chassis (3) and the second chassis (5).
THIN PORTABLE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND CONTROL METHOD AND CONTROL PROGRAM THEREOF
A thin portable communication terminal that includes a casing having a rectangular parallelepiped shape; one pair of arm portions each having one end that is axially supported to be turnable with respect to corresponding one of both side faces on longer sides of the casing; hand portions each disposed at another end of corresponding one of the one pair of arm portions; and a leg portion disposed on one side face that is on a shorter side of the casing and is capable of independent movement.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING ANTENNA MODULE
An electronic device is provided, which includes a housing; a first plate placed on the front side of the housing; a second plate placed on the rear side of the housing; and an antenna module arranged between the first plate and the second plate. The antenna module includes a first PCB; a second PCB having a material different from that of the first PCB and at least partially coupled to one surface of the first PCB in an overlap area; a first conductive line included in the first PCB; a second conductive line included in the second PCB; a first conductive pattern arranged on the second PCB and connected to the second conductive line; a first connection member for connecting the first conductive line and the second conductive line in the overlap area; and a second connection member for coupling the first PCB and the second PCB in the overlap area.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING ANTENNAS
