Mobile Phone Cornia Placido Disc Image
Improvements in capturing an image of a cornea with Placido's disk lines is disclosed. The imaging is with a clam shell clamping device that is easily clamped onto a cellular device and the lighting tube is centered on the camera so the image at the end of the tube can be captured. The clamping device includes a ring light source that illuminates the outside of the tube. The tube has a plurality of geometrically spaced light and dark rings to create evenly spaced rings on the cornea. Imperfections in the cornea will distort the rings. The camera can capture the image and the image or picture can be forwarded to a doctor or other care giver to determine the perfection or imperfection of the cornea.
Cold worked metal housing for a portable electronic device
A cold worked stainless steel bezel for a portable electronic device is provided. The bezel is secured flush to a housing to form part of the case of the portable electronic device. A brace that includes a slot for receiving a wall extending from the bezel is fixed to the housing. When the bezel engages the housing, the wall of the bezel is inserted in the slot of the brace and releasably held by a spring that engages both the brace and the wall. The bezel can be released by disengaging the spring, (e.g., using a special tool or a magnetic field). Because the bezel is manufactured from cold worked stainless steel, it is hard and resistant to impacts. Cold worked steel also facilitates manufacturing within design constraints and tolerances, and requires very little machining after manufacturing to comply with those constraints.
Display module
A portable computing device is disclosed. The portable computing device can take many forms such as a laptop computer, a tablet computer, and so on. The portable computing device can include a single piece housing and a display module. The display module can include a protective top glass cover that is bonded to a plastic display frame and surrounded by a seal frame. The display module can also include a display panel and its associated circuitry suspended from the display frame below the protective glass cover. The display module is coupled to the single piece housing using mounting clips in a manner that allows the display module to move relative to the single piece housing during an impact event. The plastic display frame can include inserts that provide structural support near openings in the single piece housing.
Electronic device
The invention provides a modular electronic device, in particular a portable device, more in particular a handheld device, said modular electronic device comprising a chassis comprising a frame holding a computational module comprising a circuit board holding a data processor, and a display module comprising a planar display device having a viewing side and a rear side, said display module comprising a back plate on the rear side of the display device, wherein said frame further comprises a frame attachment part and said back plate comprises a display attachment part for allowing said display module to be attached to said frame in a sliding manner in a sliding direction in-plane of said planar display device, and said frame comprising a frame lock part and said display module comprising a display lock part for in a mutually locked position locking said frame and said display module onto one another, blocking said sliding, and in a mutually released position allowing sliding of said display module and said frame with respect to one another for allowing removal of said display module from said frame.
PROTECTIVE DISPLAY DEVICE
A protective display device (10) for a mobile communication device (11) having a first electronic screen, the protective display device (10) comprising: a casing (15) defining a cavity that conforms at least partially to the rear outer shape of the mobile communication device (11), the casing (15) configured to releasably engage the mobile communication device (11); an upper opening (30) of the casing (15) positioned and sized to avoid obstructing a plurality of rear electronic components located on the rear side of the mobile communication device (11); a second electronic screen (20) that is different from the first electronic screen and is attached to the casing (15) such that the second electronic screen (20) is visible to a user when the device (10) is attached to the mobile communication device (11); a communications module (23) housed within a thickness of the casing (15) configured to transmit and receive data from the mobile communication device (11) and/or Internet; a computer processor (16) housed within a thickness of the casing (15) operatively connected to the second electronic screen (20) that is configured to control an image displayed by the second electronic screen (20) in accordance with data received from the communications module (23); and at least one rechargeable power cell (24) housed within a thickness of the casing (15) to supply power to the second electronic screen (20), communications module (23) and computer processor (16), and when the casing (15) is engaged with the mobile communication device (11) the at least one rechargeable power cell (24) is configured to supply power to the mobile communication device (11) and receive power via the mobile communication device (11) if being charged from a power outlet.
MEASUREMENT DEVICE, DESIGN SERIES, AND USE OF A COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A measurement device (1) including a measurement module (2) and a communication module (3), in which the measurement module (2) has at least one sensor (4) for measuring a physical or chemical quantity. In the position of use, an interface (5) is provided for the communication between the measurement module (2) and the communication module (3). The measurement module (2) has a measurement module housing (6) and the communication module (3) has a communication module housing (7), which can be interconnected in a mechanically releasable manner and form in the connected state a closed measurement device housing (15).
MOBILE TERMINAL
A mobile terminal is disclosed. The mobile terminal includes a housing having an internal space that is opened toward a front, and a display unit coupled to the housing and positioned in front of the internal space. The display unit includes a cover glass, a glass support adjacent to a side of the cover glass and disposed on a rear surface of the cover glass, wherein at least a portion of the glass support is positioned in the internal space and fixed to the cover glass, a frame including a frame body positioned in a rear of the cover glass, a first frame extension bent from the frame body to a rear of the frame body, and a second frame extension bent from the first frame extension, positioned between the first frame extension and the glass support, and coupled to the glass support, and a flexible display placed on the frame and disposed between the frame and the cover glass, wherein an edge area of the flexible display adjacent to the second frame extension is disposed between the glass support and the first frame extension.
