The apparatus further includes a second transceiver of the wearable device. The second transceiver is configured to communicate using a second communication network having a second communication range that is less than the first communication range. The apparatus also includes a receptacle of the wearable device. The receptacle is configured to receive an audio device that is configured to communicate with the second transceiver using the second communication network.
Providing Isolation from Distractions
An apparatus includes a first interface for connecting to a personal computer, a second interface for connecting to a communications device, a third interface for connecting to a headset, a fourth interface for connecting to a speaker, and a processor in control of each of the interfaces. The processor is configured to route audio associated with a communications session on one of the personal computer or the communications device to the speaker, and in response to a user putting on the headset, re-route the audio to the headset.
Incoming/outgoing-talk unit and incoming-talk unit
The present specification discloses an incoming/outgoing-talk unit having an ear-hook unit, a cartilage conduction vibration unit that makes contact with ear cartilage in a state where the hook unit is hooked to the ear, an outgoing-talk unit, and a unit for performing short-range wireless communication with the mobile telephone. Further disclosed is an incoming-talk unit having an ear-hook unit, and a cartilage conduction vibration unit for transmitting cartilage conduction from outside of ear cartilage in a state where the hook unit is hooked to the ear. Also disclosed is an incoming-talk unit having a three-dimensional viewing adjustment unit, a temple having a unit for adjusting contact of eyesight-adjusting eyeglasses with the temple when the unit is superposedly mounted on the eyesight-adjusting eyeglasses; and an audio information output unit provided to the temple.
Device stand with integral cradle port
A stand for supporting a device such as a cellphone or tablet computer includes a body section for physically connecting to the device. The body section has one or more legs. The legs have at least two positions; a first position flush with the body section and a second position extended for supporting the device at an angle with respect to a surface on which the device and stand rest. A power input for connecting to a source of power is provided on the body. A device connector is electrically coupled to the power input and electrically connected to the device, thereby providing electrical power to the device. A docking port is formed in the body section. The docking port accepts and holds a peripheral device and has a docking port connector for providing power to the peripheral device.
Wireless headset system
A wireless headset system includes a housing having at least a wireless communication component configured to communicate with a wireless host device. The housing includes: a body portion, an ear-bud portion having at least a speaker operatively coupled with the wireless communications component, and a neck portion having an ear-bud end and a body end, the ear-bud end coupled with the ear-bud portion, the body end coupled with the body portion. The housing is attachable on the wireless host device between an inner surface of the ear-bud portion and an inner surface of the body portion.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION DEVICE WITH DETACHABLE WIRELESS MODULE AND METHOD THEREOF
The present invention is directed to an electronic communication device including a smart device adapted to be configured or worn around a wrist of user through a wrist-band, characterized in that the electronic communication device includes: a) at least one detachable wireless module detachably connected with the electronic communication device, b) a recess or housing adapted to receive or accommodate the detachable wireless module; wherein the detachable wireless module includes an engaging portion adapted to be detachably mounted to a complementary engaging member of the recess or housing; and wherein the detachable wireless module is adapted to be configured to operate in hands-tire operating mode and attaching operating mode; such that in the hands-free operating mode, the detachable wireless module is disengaged from the electronic communication device without the loss of Bluetooth paring or wireless interface connection; and in the attaching operating mode, the detachable wireless module becomes an integral part of the electronic communication device.
Remotely controlling a hearing device
An electronic device with a display is paired with a set of wireless audio output devices, including a first wireless audio output device for outputting audio to a right ear of a user and a second wireless audio output device for outputting audio to a left ear of the user. In response to a request to display status information about the set of wireless audio output devices, the electronic device displays a status user interface, including concurrently displaying a first battery status indicator for the first wireless audio output device with an indication that battery status indicator relates to the device for outputting audio to the right ear of the user and a second battery status indicator for the second wireless audio output device with an indication that battery status indicator relates to the device for outputting audio to the left ear of the user.
