High tolerance connection between elements

An electronic device may include a ring-shaped housing member defining an interior volume. The ring-shaped housing member may be configured to receive electronic device components. The ring-shaped housing member may include a first element comprising an angled region, and a second element comprising an angled region. A first intermediate element may be placed between the first and second elements, where the intermediate element is secured to internal surfaces of each of the first and second elements such that the first and second elements do not overlap. The first intermediate element may fasten the first and second elements to one another, and electrically isolate the first and second elements from one another.

HIGH TOLERANCE CONNECTION BETWEEN ELEMENTS

This is directed to connecting two or more elements using an intermediate element constructed from a material that changes between states. An electronic device can include one or more components constructed by connecting several elements. To provide a connection having a reduced or small size or cross-section and construct a component having high tolerances, a material can be provided in a first state in which it flows between the elements before changing to a second state in which it adheres to the elements and provides a structurally sound connection. For example, a plastic can be molded between the elements. As another example, a composite material can be brazed between the elements. In some cases, internal surfaces of the elements can include one or more features for enhancing a bond between the elements and the material providing the interface between the elements.

FULL-SCREEN DISPLAY DEVICE

A full-screen display device includes a display screen and a main board module. The display is disposed directly facing the main board module. The main board module includes a camera, a flexible circuit board, and a first connector. One end of the flexible circuit board is electrically connected to the camera, another end is connected to the main board module through the first connector. The flexible circuit board is provided with a passing hole directly facing the camera, so that the camera is closely attached to the display and is not shielded by the flexible circuit board.

Examples herein include modules and connections for modules to couple to a computing device. An example module includes a housing comprising an end to couple to a computing device, multiple capacitive pads that each include data contacts to enable data transfer, a power contact pad to provide or receive power, and a ground contact pad to couple to ground. The ground contact pad is larger in size than the power contact pad, and the ground contact pad is positioned closer than the power contact pad to the end of the housing configured to couple to the computing device.

A modular device system is provided having a base portable electronic communication device. The base portable electronic communication device has a display side and a reverse side, and one or more antennas being located along one of the device edges. A ground element on the reverse side of the housing is adjacent to the antennas and is grounded to the chassis. A multi-pin connector array on the same side is located adjacent to the ground element and the ground element lies between the connector array and the antennas. The ground element is configured to contact a mating ground element on an add-on module when the module is mated to the base portable electronic communication device.

The electronic pathway provides the mechanism for power and data communication between the phone and the analog port via the interface of the case's electronic plug to the electronic port of the phone.

The operation portion may include a fixing portion in at least part thereof, the fixing portion may be disposed in the first fixing region at the first position and in the second fixing region at the second position, and when an external force is applied to the support portion at the first position, at least part of the operation portion may be movable from the first fixing region to the second fixing region in contact with at least part of the connection member.
