A chip card securing assembly detachably received in a body of an electronic device, the chip card securing assembly includes a tray and a connector. The tray includes a receiving portion and a holding portion. The receiving portion includes a first end and a second end, the second end defines a receive slot. The holding portion extends from the first end and configured to hold a chip card. The connector is received in the receiving portion and exposed from the receive slot. An electronic device applying the chip card securing assembly is also provided.

INTERFACE DEVICE PROVIDING INTRINSIC SAFETY FOR A COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE
An interface device for providing Intrinsic Safety to a Smart Identity Module (SIM) card includes a buffer circuit including a voltage regulator and a voltage level translator including drivers. Baseband processor side pins include at least an input/output (IO) pin for receiving data signals, first SIM reset (RST) pin, core power supply (VCC) pin, a clock (CLK) pin, a battery power supply (VBAT) pin, and SIM side pins include at least a VCC pin, a SIM CLK pin, second SIM RST pin, and a SIM IO pin. There is at least one series resistor (R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5) in series with each of the baseband processor side pins.
USB connector for walkie talkie batteries
Portable RF radio transceivers, commonly known as walkie talkies, are powered by common replaceable batteries. Mobile devices, including cell phones, are chargeable from the walkie talkies having power output ports. USB or mini USB ports on the walkie talkies are used for the power outputs to charge mobile devices while moving through locations without interrupting both types of the communication devices.
RUGGEDIZED VOICE AND DATA COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
Ruggedized voice and data communication systems are disclosed having at least two communications boards. Each communications board has at least one transceiver and a plurality of interfaces. A first communications board includes a primary network communicator having a non-transitory memory connected to a processor. The non-transitory memory has computer-executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to attempt a first network connection using at least one transceiver, and upon failure, enter a failover mode such that a second network connection is directly provided by the second communications board.

An electronic device, including: a housing, a battery, and a circuit board assembly. The housing is provided with a power interface. The battery includes a battery protection board and a cell. The circuit board assembly is disposed in the housing and is electrically connected to the power interface. The circuit board assembly includes a first board, a second board, a first flexible circuit board, and a second flexible circuit board. The first flexible circuit board is connected to the battery protection board and the first board, and the second flexible circuit board is connected to the battery protection board and the second board.

An electronic device includes a casing and an antenna assembly. The casing has a waterproof area and a peripheral area. The peripheral area is defined at the periphery of the waterproof area. The antenna assembly is disposed at the peripheral area. The antenna assembly includes a hollow-core housing, a circuit board, an antenna, a first sealing element and a second sealing element. The hollow-core housing has a receiving recess and two openings. The two openings are in communication with two opposing ends of the receiving recess. The circuit board is disposed in the receiving recess. The antenna is disposed in the receiving recess and electrically connected to the circuit board. The first sealing element has a wiring aperture. The first sealing element and the second sealing element hermetically seal the two openings of the hollow-core housing, respectively.
Ruggedized voice and data communications system
Ruggedized voice and data communication systems are disclosed having ruggedized enclosures for housing a communications board with at least one transceiver and a plurality of interfaces. The system has a power supply configured to receive a first voltage and convert the first voltage to a second voltage and provide the second voltage to the communications board.
Handheld device enclosure having an outer periphery member and front and rear cover assemblies
This is directed to an electronic device enclosure. The enclosure includes an outer periphery member forming an outer surface of a device, and to which an internal platform is connected. Electronic device components can be assembled to one or both surfaces of the internal platform. The enclosure can include front and back cover assemblies assembled to the opposite surfaces of the outer periphery member to retain electronic device components. One or both of the cover assemblies can include a window through which display circuitry can provide content to a user of the device.
