Privacy-based user behavior modification
Systems and methods of implementing privacy-based user behavior modification in a mobile electronic communications device entail receiving a spoken user request at the mobile electronic communications device, determining a request privacy level and an environmental privacy level at the mobile electronic communications device, the environmental privacy level being one of private and non-private. The device then maintains communication privacy based on the request privacy level and the environmental privacy level.
System, Method, and Apparatus for Dispatching Help
A system for providing help includes a smartphone having a cellular transceiver and a global positioning subsystem. A call center server computer system has a plurality of agent computers. Software running on the smartphone is configured to recognize a preprogrammed specific utterance and to connect with the call center server computer system. After the preprogrammed specific utterance is detected, the software running on the smartphone initiates a call to the call center server computer system. When the call center server computer system receives the call, the call center server computer system retrieves a data record associated with the smartphone using a caller-id of the call and the call center server computer system assigns an agent computer. At least part of the data record is displayed on a display of that agent computer and an audio connection is made between that agent computer and the smartphone.
Wireless audio guide
A wireless audio guide system for an exhibition area. The system includes a BLE chip transmitting a beacon containing audio guide data associated with at least one exhibit in the exhibition area. The beacon is transmitted at predetermined intervals. A mobile device, within a predetermined range of the at least one exhibit, captures the beacon and links the mobile device to an audio file that is played back at the mobile device.
Electronic device that limits electromagnetic emissions from multiple batteries
An electronic device, method, and computer program product enable limiting electromagnetic emissions from current between batteries. A first battery is positioned proximal to an earpiece speaker within the electronic device. At least one second battery is positioned at a different location within the electronic device that is not proximal to the earpiece speaker. A controller is electrically connected to a switch that is electrically connected in-line with the first battery. The controller selectively toggles the switch between first and second switches state. The controller initiates activation of a first software mode of the electronic device corresponding to operation of the earpiece speaker. In response to detecting the activation, the controller toggles the switch to the first switch state in which the switch limits current drawn from the first battery while the electronic device is in the first software mode, thus reducing baseband electromagnetic emissions emanating from the first battery.
Head mounted display processes sound with HRTFs based on eye distance of a user wearing the HMD
A head mounted display (HMD) determines a distance between eyes of a user wearing the HMD, and head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) are selected based on the eye distance. The HMD displays a virtual image to the user and processes sound with the HRTFs into binaural sound that externally localizes at the virtual image. The HMD that determines the distance between the eyes of the user is also the HMD that displays the virtual image and processes the sound with the HRTFs.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING STEREO AUDIO SIGNAL THEREOF
An electronic device, according to various embodiments of the present invention, comprises: a first speaker arranged on one side end of the electronic device; a second speaker arranged on the other side end of the electronic device; at least one sensor; and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured so as to receive a first audio signal, acquire a first channel signal and a second channel signal by using the first audio signal, acquire state information associated with the electronic device by using the at least one sensor, correct at least one portion of the first channel signal on the basis of at least the state information, output the corrected first channel signal using the first speaker, and output the second channel signal using the second speaker. In addition, various embodiments are possible.
Method and apparatus for controlling application program, and electronic device
Embodiments of the present invention relate to telecommunications technologies, so that in a state in which the electronic device is connected to an external audio device, a manner used by the electronic device to process an audio and video application program can be intelligentized. A sensor is disposed on at least one of the electronic device or the external audio device. The method includes: receiving, by the electronic device, a detection result signal sent by the sensor, where the detection result signal is a signal that carries a detection value obtained by means of detection by the sensor; determining, by the electronic device according to a preset correspondence and the detection value, an action performed by a user on the electronic device or the external audio device; and controlling, by the electronic device, an execution status of an audio and video application program according to the action.
EAR PROXIMITY DETECTION
Embodiments of the disclosure include methods, apparatus and computer programs for detecting the proximity of an ear to an audio device. In one embodiment, the disclosure provides a system for detecting the presence of an ear in proximity to an audio device. The system comprises: an input for obtaining a data signal from the environment of the audio device; and an ear biometric authentication module configured to: compare one or more ear biometric features, extracted from the data signal, to an ear biometric template; and generate a first output indicative of the presence or absence of any ear in proximity to the audio device based on the comparison of the one or more extracted ear biometric features to the ear biometric template.
SPEAKER CONTROL METHOD AND MOBILE TERMINAL
This disclosure provides a speaker control method and a mobile terminal. The method is performed by the mobile terminal, and the mobile terminal includes at least two speakers. The method includes obtaining a use state of the mobile terminal, and determining corresponding audio mode information based on the use state of the mobile terminal, where the audio mode information includes audio modes of the at least two speakers. The method further includes controlling each speaker to work in a corresponding audio mode in the audio mode information.
