User-based privacy activation for audio play mode
A privacy system and method are provided for selecting an audio play mode in a mobile electronic communications device having a microphone, a loudspeaker and an earpiece speaker. The described technique in an embodiment includes retrieving data for replay to the user, determining based on a characteristic of the data or the user whether the data is private, and playing the retrieved data via the earpiece speaker if the data is private. Otherwise the retrieved data is played via the loud speaker.
Method for call processing and electronic device
Provided are a method for call processing and an electronic device. The method includes the following. Voice data collected by at least two target wireless headphones of the multiple target wireless headphones are received respectively. The multiple target wireless headphones are coupled with an electronic device, and the electronic device is in a call mode. The voice data collected by the at least two target wireless headphones is sent to the other party of a call. Audio data is received from the other party and the audio data is sent to the multiple target wireless headphones respectively.
Adjusting ambient sound playing through speakers in headphones
Headphones include one or more microphones that capture ambient sound in an environment of a user. The headphones play music from a smartphone and the ambient sound through speakers. An amplitude of the ambient sound playing through the speakers is adjusted in response to determining an atmospheric pressure in the environment or movement of the smartphone with the user.
Smartphone moves location of binaural sound
A smartphone includes a camera that takes a picture of an ear of a user and retrieves at least one head-related transfer function (HRTF) from a database based on the picture. A digital signal processor (DSP) processes the sound to generate binaural sound, and a transmitter transmits the binaural sound to earphones or headphones worn on a head of the user.
Mobile telephone and cartilage-conduction vibration source device
A mobile telephone in accordance with some implementations has a mobile telephone upper edge unit including a right-ear cartilage conduction unit, a left-ear cartilage conduction unit, and a linking unit linking the right-ear cartilage conduction unit and the left-ear cartilage conduction unit, the units being exposed at the mobile telephone surface; and a cartilage-conduction vibration source for transmitting vibration to the mobile telephone upper edge unit. The mobile telephone can include: a sound source unit for outputting a sound signal; an acoustic processing unit for applying correction to the sound signal output from the sound source unit, doing so on the basis of the vibration frequency characteristics of ear cartilage; a cartilage-conduction vibration source vibrated by the sound signal corrected by the acoustic processing unit; and a detection unit for detecting pressing of the mobile telephone against the ear cartilage. When the output of the detection unit is at or above a predetermined level, the acoustic processing unit performs correction to boost the gain at the high end within a frequency band in which the cartilage-conduction vibration source is vibrated to a level higher than the gain when the external auditory meatus is in an unoccluded state.
Method and Apparatus for Controlling Application Program, and Electronic Device
Embodiments of the present invention relate to telecommunications technologies, so that in a state in which the electronic device is connected to an external audio device, a manner used by the electronic device to process an audio and video application program can be intelligentized. A sensor is disposed on at least one of the electronic device or the external audio device. The method includes: receiving, by the electronic device, a detection result signal sent by the sensor, where the detection result signal is a signal that carries a detection value obtained by means of detection by the sensor; determining, by the electronic device according to a preset correspondence and the detection value, an action performed by a user on the electronic device or the external audio device; and controlling, by the electronic device, an execution status of an audio and video application program according to the action.
Sound Localization for an Electronic Call
A head mounted display (HMD) determines a distance between eyes of a user wearing the HMD, and head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) are selected based on the eye distance. The HMD displays a virtual image to the user and processes sound with the HRTFs into binaural sound that externally localizes at the virtual image. The HMD that determines the distance between the eyes of the user is also the HMD that displays the virtual image and processes the sound with the HRTFs.
System, Method, and Apparatus for Providing Help
A system for providing help includes a preprogrammed kit that includes at least one digital assistant and a virtual private network repeater for connecting to a data provider for connecting the digital assistant to a server. A plurality of agent computers is connected to the server by a data network. The digital assistant is preprogrammed with a skill for recognizing a preprogrammed specific utterance and the digital assistant is pre-configured to connect with the virtual private network repeater. After the preprogrammed specific utterance is detected by the digital assistant, the digital assistant initiates a request for help to the server and upon receiving the request for the help, the server assigns one of the agent computers and forwards the request for help to the one of the agent computers.
Adjusting ambient sound playing through speakers in headphones
During an electronic call between two individuals, a sound localization point simulates a location in empty space from where an origin of a voice of one individual occurs for the other individual.
METHOD OF AUTOMATICALLY PLAYING A VOICE MESSAGE, AND SMART PHONE AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT IMPLEMENTING THE SAME
A method of automatically playing a voice message is proposed to be implemented by a smartphone that executes an instant communication software program. The method includes: opening, by the smartphone, a chat window for communication between a user of the smartphone and a chatting target; and upon determining that there is at least one voice message not having been played before in the chat window and, based on a signal provided by a proximity sensor near a receiver of the smartphone, that there is an object close to the receiver, automatically and audibly outputting the at least one voice message using the receiver.
