System and method for generating data regarding a vehicle crash
A computer-implemented method for generating data regarding a vehicle crash is presented. Initial sensor data output by a sensor(s) of a mobile computing device may be received. It may be determined whether the initial sensor data includes sensor data indicating that a crash of a vehicle has occurred. Additional sensor data output by the sensor(s) of the mobile computing device may be received when it is determined that the initial sensor data includes sensor data indicating the crash has occurred. The additional sensor data may be received for a first amount of time after it is determined that the initial sensor data includes sensor data indicating the crash has occurred. Combined sensor data may be generated based on the initial sensor data and the additional sensor data, where the combined sensor data may include sensor data corresponding to time before the crash and corresponding to time after the crash.
On-vehicle hands-free apparatus, communication control method, and computer-readable medium
An on-vehicle hands-free apparatus according to the present disclosure enables a hands-free call by being connected to a mobile phone in a wireless or wired manner. The on-vehicle hands-free apparatus includes a memory, and a hardware processor coupled to the memory. The hardware processor is configured to: cause the mobile phone to execute an outgoing/incoming call using a phone function of the mobile phone based on outgoing/incoming call history data or phone book data stored in the mobile phone, the outgoing/incoming call history data including a phone number transmitted and received by the mobile phone; and acquire the outgoing/incoming call history data including a phone number of a counterpart of a call from the mobile phone when the call is terminated on the mobile phone.
In-vehicle hands-free apparatus, in-vehicle hands-free system, and data transfer method
An in-vehicle hands-free apparatus is configured to: perform control relating to data transfer using a transfer protocol to achieve transfer of first incoming call history data representing a source of an incoming call received by first communication of voice using a phone application dedicated to an operating system of a mobile phone, first outgoing call history data, phone book data, second incoming call history data representing a source of an incoming call received by second communication of voice using a communication application, second outgoing call history data, and registration data, stored in the mobile phone, when the mobile phone exists in a wireless connection area; and store the received first incoming call history data, first outgoing call history data, phone book data, second incoming call history data, second outgoing call history data, and registration data.
GNSS PHONE-BASED AUTOMATED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE CALLING FOR VEHICULAR APPLICATIONS
A phone device monitors an accelerometer while traveling in a vehicle to detect unusually large excursions or sudden changes in acceleration magnitude. When such an excursion is detected, the phone device then compares the excursion with the output of other components in the vehicle that can confirm or dispel a finding that the vehicle has experienced a collision. Once a likely collision has been detected, the phone device goes into an automated assistance mode where the use can be voice prompted as to their condition. If no response is received, the phone device can automatically call emergency services for assistance, providing the present location of the phone device. In less severe incidents, the phone device can automatically offer immediate access to other services, include a towing service, an attorney, an automobile service, among others. The service providers are based on a geo-fenced region in which the phone device is located.
Scheduling with distractions disabled
A communication device comprising: one or more processors and one or more memories supporting communication, the device comprising a plurality of modes, including at least a normal mode and at least one focused mode, wherein the normal mode is distinct from the focused mode, and wherein, when the device is in the focused mode one or more features of the device are at least partially disabled, and wherein the one or more features of the device that are at least partially disabled in the focused mode include one or more features relating to communication supported by the device, wherein the device is configured to: support a user interface (UI) for setting one or more focused time periods, and wherein the device is further configured to switch to the at least one focused mode during the focused time periods.
System and method for applying a low frequency magnetic field to biological tissues
A system and method for applying a low strength, low frequency magnetic field therapy to biological tissues. A coil is excited with a low frequency oscillating current, e.g., 10-1000 Hz. The coil is, e.g., 5-200 turns, having a diameter of 2-20 mm, and produces a magnetic field strength of about 0.01-5 mTelsa at a distance of 1 cm from the coil, or a cover over the coil, into the tissue. The current is preferably controlled by a smartphone or other programmable device controlled by a downloadable app in accordance with a PEMF program which may be separately downloaded or updated, and may be provided through an audio jack. Alternately, a digital interface and/or wireless interface may control the current. An app on the smartphone may be used to control the frequency, amplitude/envelope modulation, waveform, duration, etc. of the oscillation. The coil may be in mineral housing with a simple filter, and TRRS-type audio jack.
