Electronic device for performing authentication by using multiple biometric sensors and operation method thereof
The present invention relates to an electronic device for performing authentication by using biometric information and an operating method thereof, the electronic device comprising: a first biometric sensor for acquiring biometric information by a first method; a second biometric sensor for acquiring the biometric information or other biometric data by a second method; a display; and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to acquire context information relating to the first method and the second method, select at least one method from the first method and the second method on the basis of at least a part of the context information, and display at least one graphic object corresponding to the at least one authentication method through the display.
ORGANIZING APPLICATIONS FOR MOBILE DEVICES
Methods and apparatuses for arranging applications for a mobile device are described, in which the mobile device includes a set of applications. The mobile device may identify certain applications that a user of the mobile device is likely to activate, based on a particular environmental setting. The environmental setting may include a present location determined by a GPS, a present date and time, a present day, or the like. The mobile device may display graphical elements (e.g., icons) corresponding to the identified applications on a screen of the mobile device such that the user may conveniently activate the identified applications. In some embodiments, the mobile device may sort individual applications of the set based on quantities and/or lengths of activations to identify such applications. The mobile device may enlarge the icons by a predetermined factor before displaying them on the screen.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXECUTING APPLICATION
An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a display, a wireless communication unit, a memory and processor. The processor implements the method, including: identifying at least one application for which execution is predicted, based on a usage history of the electronic device and a state of the electronic device, executing a first loading procedure for the identified at least one application based on detecting satisfaction of a trigger condition related to the identified at least one application, after executing the first loading procedure, detecting occurrence of an event related to the identified at least one application, executing a second loading procedure for the identified at least one application in response to detecting the occurrence of the event, and on completion of the second loading procedure, displaying an execution screen of the identified at least one application via the display.

CHAT INTERFACE WITH DYNAMICALLY POPULATED MENU ELEMENT
The disclosed system provides a chat interface with a dynamically populated menu element. According to certain example embodiments, a dynamic menu system may perform operations that include: presenting a set of identifiers at a client device; receiving an input that selects an identifier from among the set of identifiers; causing display of a chat interface in response to the input that selects the identifier, the chat interface including a menu element at a position within the chat interface, the menu element comprising a display of a set of tabs that correspond with application categories; receiving a selection of a tab from among the set of tabs, the tab corresponding with an application category; curating a set of applications based on the application category of the tab; and causing display of a presentation of the set of applications within the chat interface.
Personal hand-held electronic device
A personal hand-held electronic device having a case and an elongated handle. The case has a front surface, and rear surface, and a side wall, and disposed within the case is a micro-computer. The front surface has an outer perimeter wall and a display. The display has a central portion that displays images and an outer portion that displays a keyboard that extends around on the interior of, and adjacent to, the outer perimeter wall of the front surface of the case.
Methods and apparatus for configuring remote access of process control data
A method of providing process data to a remote computing device includes receiving configuration data describing a configuration of at least part of the process control system. The configuration data includes information associated with a plurality of process control entities, and the information regarding each entity includes at least one tag associated with a level in a hierarchy of the system. The method includes identifying a plurality of levels within the system based upon the tags, including at least a first-level identifier and a plurality of second-level identifiers associated with the first-level identifier. Further, the method includes identifying a plurality of control modules, each associated with a second-level identifier, and each associated with the entities based upon the configuration data. The method includes generating a hierarchical list of available process data, and selecting from the hierarchical list a set of information to include on a watch list or alarm list.
