Wireless density-based on-the-fly codec and radio frequency link type selection
10742818 · 2020-08-11 · ·

A method is disclosed for wireless density-based on-the-fly codec and radio frequency link type selection. The method includes storing a link quality value, and scanning a plurality of timeslots across a plurality of wireless carriers. The method also includes calculating, based on the scanning, an average radio frequency density level for a time period. Still yet, the method includes calculating a current density level based on the link quality value and the average radio frequency density level. Further, the method includes selecting, based on the current density level, a codec from a plurality of stored codecs. The selected codec is associated with a link type. Moreover, the method includes receiving a command to open a wireless link, and, in response to the command, opening the wireless link using the selected codec and the associated link type.

Switching to a Single Radio Chain for Voice Communications

In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, devices, and program products for selecting a wireless transmission mechanism. A computing device receives a request to begin a full-duplex voice communication session with a remote computing system. The computing device identifies that it has wirelessly connected to both a WWAN access point and a WLAN access point. The computing device determines whether a level of non-voice session data that is queued for transmission or receipt by the computing device falls beneath a threshold level of data, and as a result, switches to using a single one of multiple WLAN radio chains. The computing device communicates data over the single one of the multiple WLAN radio chains, including voice session data from the full-duplex voice communication session.

DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS
20200210135 · 2020-07-02 · ·

A display method and an apparatus that relates to the field of communications technologies, to avoid a problem that a process of a currently running application cannot continue due to disconnection of a terminal when the terminal performs multi-screen display. The method includes a first terminal sending first display data to a second terminal after the first terminal connects to the second terminal, so that the second terminal displays a first interface. In this case, the first terminal displays a second interface (the second interface is different from the first interface). The first terminal disconnects from the second terminal; and after the first terminal reconnects to the second terminal, the first terminal may send second display data to the second terminal, so that the second terminal displays a third interface correlated with the first interface.

BASE UNIT AND REPEATER
20200187101 · 2020-06-11 ·

A base unit that performs DECT communication with a cordless telephone under the control of the base unit and a repeater under the control of the base unit, the base unit including a controller that generates first slot information to which the cordless telephone refers when the cordless telephone accesses the base unit and second slot information to which the repeater refers when the repeater accesses the base unit and a radio section that transmits the first slot information to the cordless telephone and the second slot information to the repeater, wherein the controller generates the first slot information representing that access to a first slot group out of a plurality of slots in a predetermined period is restricted and generates the second slot information representing that access to a remaining second slot group out of the plurality of slots excluding the first slot group is restricted.

Cordless telephone, base unit, and repeater

A cordless telephone that establishes a call with a telephone of a destination via a base unit includes a controller and a radio unit. The controller modulates control data for controlling radio communication and voice data to be transmitted to the telephone, and stores a modulation control signal of the control data and a modulation voice signal of the voice data in a half slot of a Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) system. The radio unit transmits, by radio, the half slot to the base unit.

Method and device for identifying bluetooth headset voice source

A method for identifying a Bluetooth headset voice source includes: S1: establishing a connection between a device itself, that is, a first Bluetooth headset, and a smart terminal and a connection between the first Bluetooth headset and a second Bluetooth headset separately; and S2: when the first or second Bluetooth headset sends a voice, establishing a data control channel by using Generic Attribute Profile and Attribute Protocol, sending a corresponding identifier to the smart terminal according to different voice sources, and then sending the voice to the smart terminal. A device for identifying a Bluetooth headset voice source includes a baseband circuit (1), a memory (2), and a main controller (3). The program in the memory (2) is used for performing the method for identifying a Bluetooth headset voice source. The method and device can solve the problem about identifying voice sources of two Bluetooth headsets.

Low power wake up radio synchronization with low power antenna

A first wireless device determines, while a first and second wireless transceiver are powered off, start of a service period. The first wireless transceiver is turned on in response to the determination to enable the first wireless device to establish communication via a LP wireless channel while the second wireless transceiver is off. The first wireless device receives a request frame from a second wireless device and a time of a timing function is updated based on the request frame.

DECT base station, handle and communication system

Disclosed are a Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) base station, a handset and a communication system. The DECT base station is installed with at least two different voice codecs and is configured to sequentially judge whether the voice codecs of the DECT base station match voice codecs of a handset according to a first codec information data packet sent by the handset, and when a matching is successful, send a response information to the handset to perform voice communication with the handset through a matched voice codec. By using the DECT base station can guarantee the normal voice communication between the DECT base station and the handset in the condition of installing voice codecs in the DECT base station.
